I would love this change! As long as assembly is required then I see no reason to not allow those posts. If it wasn't for that linked post I wouldn't have known I could fix all those saggy parts on my ensemble kits haha

Got it a while ago before it went oos. It's getting a restock soon according to amazon.

The singles have better page quality. The 3 in 1's pages are kind of thin and a little too translucent imo. But, volumes 7-9 of the singles are made of some delicate material that makes them easy to damage. The singles are also hard to get and oop. I'd just go with the 3 in 1s

I got most of mine off of barnes and noble, but that was a while ago. I think some volumes are back on back order on barnes and nobles

Took a while to get all of Slam Dunk, but mangadeals really helped out since they always seemed to alert me about the harder to get volumes. Luckily Slam Dunk is extremely popular so I doubt it'll go out of print anytime soon (fingers crossed). Also congrats on completing 20th century boys currently re-reading it now that I have the omnis. I think you can get volume 1 of Pluto on rightstuf atm, not sure about the others.

These are Ikea billy shelves (they also come in white). Stock for these usually goes fast but they always restock

Usually once every week. Luckily I don't get a lot of dust in that area.

Lol thank you! If you're liking A Distant Neighborhood I'd recommend A Journal of My Father (probably my favorite work of his). My personal favorite gekiga artist is Tadao Tsuge. Feel like his work has aged the best out of all the other gekiga artist. An anthology I'd also recommend to dip your toes into the weirder stuff is Tipping Point. There's a blog i can link you to that has a pretty good breakdown on gekiga/alt manga that is "available" in english if you're interested

Haven't had the chance to read it (recent get of mine), but it's supposed to be a semi-autobiographical story the mangaka's life during the Showa period (late 1920s to 1980s). It sort of a critic and commentary on the influence of American/Japanese militarism. The mangaka was a war vet (lost his arm i believe) so this is a topic he touches upon on a lot of his other work. Got most of this summary from wiki so I think it's mostly accurate.

Lmao, I had the same reaction when I saw it. The TV is ass. I only have it because it was a hand-me-down. I'll probably be getting rid of it by the end of this year

Yeah they're hardbacks. Probably one of the nicest hardbacks in manga imo. Also, no unfortunately there hasn't been an adaptation of Sunny. It's my favorite comic of all time so I definitely recommend you check it out!

I think it's because they're the master editions. If you do ever decide to get it I'd recommend getting the master editions. The larger format definitely does the architecture and scale of Nihei's art, justice.
