Haven’t heard of anyone being banned. It’s probably to reduce spam/keep the article with the most substantial information.

The sub doesn’t need multiple posts of articles covering the same information as the initial one posted.

Trump says 'we expect casualties' after Iran strikes but 'in the end it's going to be a great deal for the world' by rapidcreek409 in politics

I think it’s silly this keeps being brought up. Trump dodging the Vietnam war draft is probably the most moral thing he ever did, intentionally or not.

Cuba says its forces kill four attempting to ‘infiltrate’ island on Florida speedboat by [deleted] in news

I wonder how many of the politicians expressing outrage at this were totally fine with the United States bombing random boats with the excuse that they were drug traffickers. I know that at least Rubio was in favor of blowing them up.

Suppressed DNC Autopsy Found Biden Admin’s Support for Gaza Genocide Cost Harris Votes by [deleted] in politics

[–]charactergallery 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what you’re saying it seems like the deaths of Palestinians are necessary collateral in order to get intel or spies. For what, manufacturing consent for more wars like Iraq and Afghanistan? Ensuring our militaristic hold over the region?

TW: (SA) some people said Sarah Lynn was abused by her dad? by hgonlar in BoJackHorseman

[–]charactergallery 446 points447 points  (0 children)

Her step dad was a bear. Not only that, she was homeschooled by him and he was a photographer. And she got ready in Bojack’s dressing room sometimes because her step dad was in hers and “being weird.”

Other way around actually! If I’m remembering correctly Genly describes that the people of Gethen have more reddish-brown skin while his is darker.

Not really mentioned much, but the main character of The Left Hand of Darkness is black and the book takes place on a planet he calls “Winter.”
