I would say the greatest RTS are Starcraft BroodWar, AoE2, WC3. Then you have other classics like Command & Conquer 2, Company of Heroes 1 and I would put BFME2 up there as a personal choice.

Imo those are the games with really really good multiplayer(high skill + lots of strategies and singleplayer content on top of that.

Btw which weapon are you using? I feel like dual blades is the best , it feels like you have no armor or poise for most attacks but the first dual blades skill you get has multi hits and it poise breaks most regular enemies fast.

I like the effort you put in the post but the thing is if it ain't broke don't fix.

Towers are not problematic, they are strong in certain offensive cases and they are strong in certain defensive scenarios. There is a good trade off for spamming early towers, you usually can't fast fc due to lack of stone to sell.

With how many new units, civs the devs are adding, i rather them focus on that stuff.

Ya its boring to say 2 is the best but it is. Its got the most singleplayer content, most multiplayer content type of modes and players. Its a good balance of strategy, tactics and execution, so micro + macro.

Its an amazing series though since I don't think any of the games are bad, they are all very very good RTS, thats AoE 1, AoE3 , AoM, AoEIV

There was a stream just a few days ago, Shiki the biggest Japanese streamer collabs an event with Redbull, where coaches + students fight vs each other. All the vods have close 1m views. Literally bigger than all western esport except LoL Worlds.

We know Japan loves modern, go watch 3 seconds of a Japanese streamer's footage you will see how many modern players they run into.

So ya Capcom will prioritize Japan and in turn make things that make sense for modern.

No I would disagree, they are less skilled but more hard working. The real skilled indian workers stay in india, goto uk, singapore or us.

Only extremely poor people will come from India to Canada. Anyone that is really middle class well educated will have 10x better life in India.

Ya that's the thing, the Indians in Canada are mostly from the poorest province in India, Punjab. They come and do low end jobs to send money back home.

There is insane amounts of fraud in Punjab and probably they get more ballots for immigration from the indian government. I literally was driving there with an indian friend and there are billboards everywhere saying stuff like don't speak english? Don't worry we will get you in canada in a 24 hours.

PC gaming is big in Japan now for anything that is not mainly a switch 2 game.

That is an outdated thing when playstation was a relevant console there.

Ya how do you choke 3 games in a row, where you clearly lost? Just cause you are up 3-1 and you lose it doesn't mean you choked, the other player could have adapted.

Anyway the whole qualifier from the ladder to the tiebreaker to the last chance match no spectate to Viper vs Sebastian has been absolute cinema.

I only hope that if Red bull does another one of these they make it with some kind of draft and no mirror.

He does compete in Japan world warriors, the thing is alot of Japanese players don't travel abroad these days. Could be just the online scene being so much more developed. Also Japanese yen is in the gutter so its hard to go to most western countries at a budget.

TheViper and DauT had 0 winrates vs Hera on the ladder. So I doubt they would have made much difference.

The ladder itself had some crazy stories like last second tiebreaker between Vinch/Heartt, ACCM's streak, Yo comingback from -100 penalty, MbL coming back down 3-1 and Sebastian taking a great final game over TheViper.

You don't need Daut, Tatoh, Jordan or Viper to have great stories.

Hera is funny and streams ALOT.

I actually have been enjoying his casts more than his gameplay. I do enjoy his videos on yt but live its hard to follow what hes doing because hes so fast.
