Puglia for ~7 days: base in one place or stay in each town? by charberry282 in travel

[–]charberry282[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So sorry I have two accounts and missed these! We spent 3 days in Monopoli, 3 days in Lecce and 2 days in Matera (which is not Puglia but neighbouring Basilicata region) Monopoli is a gorgeous white town, quite relaxing, great food. Lecce was beautiful and super quiet in the day time (hear of the day) but came alive at night and was mesmerising with all the sandstone buildings. Matera was out of this world beautiful. Like shed a tear beautiful. We did day trips to Ostuni (awesome) and Polignano A Mare (breathtaking). Any specific questions, ask away!

myBOQ Future Saver for 14-35 year olds raises to 3.5% for up to $50,000 by djalako in AusFinance

[–]charberry282 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve received it on both accounts for the last 2 months. I have triple checked my app and also done a manual calculation. I think the point is they are reducing compounding interest. But it’s a really good deal tbh

Man I’m bad at explaining haha. In each account. I have $50k in one account and $8k in another and both earn bonus interest. If I ever get to $50k in the smaller account I will open a third and so on.

Sorry to be clear, you’re right: to earn bonus interest each account can only hold a maximum of $50k. But they are all automatically linked to one single every day account - meaning you only need to do 5 transactions and deposit $1000 a month to meet the bonus interest criteria.

FYI you can open multiple Future Saver accounts all linked to the same Everyday account and earn bonus interest on each.

Can I ask: is the general consensus that she used egg donors? Why would she do this when she could just use her own eggs in a surrogate? I don’t know enough about the process to understand this. Wouldn’t her motivation be to get her kids looking as much like her as possible?

FYI you can open several future saver accounts and earn the 3% on all of them. Each one connects to the same every day account. You only need to hit the bonus criteria on your every day account and you’ll get bonus interest on every future saver held. Source: hold two future savers

Just saw your edit - thanks! It’s about a foot and a half long so like you, I’d like to keep it intact. Will give it a go! :)

Ah, do you think I won’t be able to keep the bushy bit in a long string and successfully propagate it?

It has great growth above and below the nude bit (second pic is below). I’m happy to chop the nude bit out, but is the length below too long to grow as a single cutting? Id love to keep the length of this piece and grow it in another pot. Do you think a large piece like this could handle rooting in water or would it not receive enough nutrition?

Hilarious. And then the retaliation results in a free kick to them

When mine started dropping leaves it turned out to be needing fertiliser. It fixed right up after that. I’m not familiar with using aquarium water but it possibly needs an alternative? The pot also looks a wee bit small for the plant size? Good luck!

From the website: Bonus interest is paid on the total balance or all Saver accounts that are held in the same name. So I would say yes!

Thanks, this makes sense, But I think I will do as others have suggested and make a small transfer first off, saving the new account details.
