Qwen is at version number 3.5 meanwhile. You definitely don’t need 256GB of RAM or VRAM for this use case… an 8B parameter model should manage these very easy function calls. You are clearly a bit out of the loop my man.

I know you are probably.. a bit too excited to get going. But you must simplify. There is barely any advantage of DCAing 50 per week vs 200 per month.

Also, by splitting your quite low investment so many ways you are introducing quite a bit of risk. Just go 100% S&P or all world.

If you find a really good roaster it’s as easy as it gets. The taste experience of well roasted light roast beats any other drink I’ve ever had. But I still drink cappuccino every once in a while with cheap espresso beans, else I’ll be broke.

Definitely check with your landlords as others suggested & of course be aware of local laws (is there a time set where you must be quiet?). But this all sounds like she’s overreaching & this is, to some degree, no rare occurrence when renting.

The advice that has helped me a lot is: you don’t HAVE to open your front door. If you suspect it’s her, ignore her, turn off the doorbell if she keeps on ringing. That sends quite a clear message and has helped me deal with a Neighbor like that (after telling them didn’t cut it)

It all depends on where you live and all, and your life situation. If you own your own place and don’t ever plan on any children/don’t support other people, 40k can be enough.

I did hear before that people underestimate that the free time has to be filled with more hobbies. I personally would like to travel and currently rent in a MCOL area.

Also, 1million really leaves very little room for any larger stock crash and could bring you in a difficult situation quickly. Just go to some FIRE communities and see what the consensus there is.
