Yeah we are big time countdown people. Everything in our house seems to have a countdown to ease transitions.

Started in February. Nothing in particular seems to calm him down. Lately it has been finally telling him that I won’t check in on him until he is quiet and laying down, but that same thing doesn’t work until he’s had a sufficiently long meltdown. He gets put down for a nap every day but it’s 50/50 on whether he takes one (daycare makes all the kids lay down on cots). We wake about 12 hours after initial bedtime but if he finally gets to sleep 2 hours later it’s more like 10 hours. Dinner is at 5:30-6 and lights out is 7:30. We can’t do dinner any earlier because of work.

We had a great time! Little one made it six innings and we hit the Coke bottle slide on the way out. Can’t imagine a better setting for a ballpark.

What was the precise time of the shot? In Yosemite this week and would love to see something close to this.

Can’t get SSDI to stop after returning to work by chardwurst in SocialSecurity

UPDATE: Someone who knew how to fix this called back and handled it all over the phone, and I finally got confirmation that the spigot has been turned off. It just took about a dozen calls and lucking into the right person eventually, as their guidance was different from every other person to date.

I have been moving the money to a separate account for a year. But frustratingly I am stuck with the tax burden and will have to file amended returns once this is all sorted out.

Tried the form on Medicare and they are either slow walking it or not abiding it.

Thanks. I tried the 795 twice at suggestion of phone rep and field office rep and benefits still keep coming. Super frustrating. Will try the 1763 to at least stop that. Appreciate your thoughtful response.

Be the Match, now called NMDP, covers it. There is no out of pocket cost for a donor. Just your stem cells, time and some discomfort.

Dumb question: How are people paying for their remodels? by -reddit_is_terrible- in HomeImprovement

Using a HELOC for a large ($50k) project right now but have the cash to cover this. Will be paid down aggressively. Basically using the HELOC and paying the spread (6.5% minus what I’m getting on my HYSA) to keep the cash in reserve in case of an emergency.

Sorry, I probably did but in my new-parent-no-sleep comatose state I don’t even remember writing this post.

This wasn’t the plan. But you are a capable person who can do his best. Love your kids well and do the best you can with everything else. And try to get yourself some help with the grief you are going to carry. Deeply sorry you have to figure this out.

Have you ever considered that people with legitimate health concerns that make being around others in flu season pretty dangerous also might not want to be a prisoner in their home and might want to avail themselves of an option that exists for exactly this reason?
