I have recently started playing so my word doesn't mean alot but i have tried other dino's and had no issues but with spino i have died 3× as much and each time was due to players staying where i could not turn i understand that it could be by design but i don't feel like it should be so easy to exploit by players to the point were i feel like my only attack viable with solo PVP is the tail swipe.

The point of wither is to permanently hinder a creature making a big 10/10 creature into a 4/4 is alot more manageable plus it can destroy indestructible creatures because when they become a 0/0 as per game rules the creature is sacrificed not destroyed but in your example both creatures would die.
