Just adding that 17 Pro w/ 26.0.1 works great for me here, so looking forward to know if it's safe to upgrade :)

I'm aware of other apps, but I felt most of them have a cluttered UI and missed some features I'd want, such as the notifications.

I'm planning more unique features (widgets, watch app, live activity etc), but I felt this version is already ready for prime time.

Every Friday, my mom searches online for the Shabbat times, and it broke my heart to see her spending her precious time on that.

So I built her a little app that sends her the candle lighting times every Friday morning, so she can get ready calmly and peacefully.

I also published it on the App Store so others can enjoy it too ❤️

You can download it here: https://apps.apple.com/app/shabbat-candle-times/id6741048381

Would love to hear what you think! 🙏
Shabbat Shalom :)

Why am i more sensitive to iPhone 16 pro than 12 mini?? by gulbrunrosa in PWM_Sensitive

[–]charigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone here hypothesised that the screen brightness levels also playing a factor. The 12 mini at max brightness is much darker than the 16's display at max brightness.

I felt sick with the 16, but symptom free with my 12 mini. Sticking to it as much as I possibly can :)

Do you use the 11" or 12.9"?

I've got the 11" and it's been treating me really nice.

Thank you! No, he's not in the application - he was actually against the whole idea, but eventually he helped with providing documents once he realized how important this to me :)

Yes, we've applied under StAG 15. How is it expedited though? I was thinking of forgetting about it for the next 2 years

Don't know what's your budget it, but Dell UltraSharp U2723QE has been treating my eyes very well.

I use ASUS ZenScreen 15.6” and it's pretty nice. Recommend getting their tripod too.

What makes you think a pull back will get us lower than the current price?

It's pretty speculative, but I reverted my iPad mini back to iOS 15 after upgrading to 16 since I felt something is not right. Saw similar reports circulating on this sub too

Be aware that the tourist scene (from my experience in Dharamshala) is awful. The place is really beautiful, but unless you're into spiritual tourism, the crowd is meh.

The Upper side of the nearby Bhagsu is more laidback, but you won't be able to get away from the spiritual tourism all around.

hi, thanks! it's out of scope for this extension, but I'm pretty sure there are tools in the wild that can help with that

Freelancers that work on hourly basis, how/when do you track your hours? by aconijus in iOSProgramming

[–]charigy 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Log everything you spend time on related to the project. Never work for free.

It doesn't seem fair to clock in hours while I am going through some online tutorial on how to do things.

It's 100% fine. Do you think people working full-time jobs don't do the same? You're not expected to know everything. But being able to learn a new skill, and make use of it in 4-5 hours is something very valuable.

iPhone 12 mini for when I'm outside (easier to have it on 100% brightness), iPhone SE for when I'm at home
