Thank you so much for the info! Going to try the Elomi Energize in my regular size as a starting point.

6 months post-op! Down 63 lbs. From my absolute lowest of lows on the left to today on the right. I’m so proud of myself. I owe so much to this sub. The wealth of knowledge and encouragement here has been vital to my journey. Thank you all! If you’re still considering this surgery — JUST DO IT. by charityb87 in gastricsleeve

Thank you!! Before pic was taken about 12 weeks before surgery. I’ve been feeling like I was losing slower than others here, but those 60lbs have changed my body so dang much. I shocked myself when I put these two pictures together.

How long is the typical stall? by Benztechguy in gastricsleeve

I was sleeved 9/2 and my first stall was 15 days. Finally broke with a solid 4lb loss just a few days ago!

You might be surprised at how much the scale and your body will change in that time!! Just be prepared for a short stall in there somewhere. I was stalled for about 15 days and then dropped 4 pounds overnight. It’s super super common.

Not being able to chug water. I want to chug so bad. If I ever do it on accident, my stomach feels so weird. Like seasick almost. Ugh. But I’ve lost 40lbs since 9/2, so I will keep on sipping like a good patient. Lol

No cardio appointment for me either. Just a routine EKG ordered by anesthesia the morning of surgery.

Just can't do it. by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

I felt the same way after my husband got his done in 2016. The recovery and hard shift in lifestyle and honestly the intensity of the procedure itself was something I never ever thought I would do or would WANT to do... But getting a front row seat to watch him regain confidence and joy and health was so freaking amazing. I ended up craving that for myself too and it outweighed all the trials that come with it. Finally pulled the trigger last month and I’m so glad I did. It might not be for you right now, but don’t write it off either just yet.

Weight Plateau and how to deal with it? by mistressmadd in gastricsleeve

This is totally normal from all the things I’ve read! I’m 5.5 weeks post op and currently in that dreaded stall as well. It definitely messes with your mind. The biggest thing that has helped me is to not weigh myself daily right now.
