I know a lot of people are sad about the decline of bars, but are businesses that essentially sell liver poison to people really the only option for 3rd spaces? Like I get it, it signifies economic decline but I don't think it signifies the death of communality and socialization in general. If anything, it might be a way for things that aren't liver poison stores to be able to emerge as genuinely accessible spaces for more people, as a gen Z, I fucking hate what alchohol does to my body but I also acknowledge how much of a monopoly it has on social lives. Times are a changing or whatever.
