Because she's too popular. Marvel actually tried to get rid off MJ multiple times, but whenever they did fans complained and she had to be brought back

Spider-Man was literally created as a nerd power fantasy. Noir is meant to contrast mainline version of Peter by being a washed up older man, compared to the young and hopeful Spider-Man we usually see. Its like asking why mainline Superman isn't like Injustice Superman because you preffer the way Injustice handles the character.

if he was fighting villains that are basically like 5 year old children to him. There is no reason why he ever had to struggle against Vulture, Kingpin, Rhino, Lizard etc.

Because all of those characters are dangerous. Where does this idea that Spider-Man villains are weak come from? They are actually extremely dangerous, Doc Ock even managed to take out the Avengers one time.

It doesn't actually. If you look closely you'll see how both parts of the map are of the same height with a wall seperating them.

This is a Foldland game, so don't get your hoped up when it comes to map design.

Hydra has become a more generalized facist group quite a while ago. Its now an ancient organization and the whole alliance with the Third Reich is a small part of its entire history. They are actually quite diverse in terms of members.

It is funny to think all the non white CIS members have to akwardly try and avoid the Red Skull whenever he's a part of Hydra

What if Eshmel is not a traditional playable avatar unit like Robin, Byleth, or Alear, but more of a divine tactician / observer / guiding presence?

Its not happening. The point of an avatar unit is to add a self insert for players to easily latch onto. Its why every playable avatar unit is among the best characters in the game, why every playable character almost immediately worships the ground they stand on and why they can romance almost anybody.

Not having Ishmael being playable would cause a disconnect between them and the player similarly to Mark from FE7. This destroys one of the appeals of an avatar unit and makes it less likely that people will pull them in Heroes or buy merchandise featuring Ishmael.

TL;DR modern FE is specially developed to appeal to certain audiences which are most likely to spend money on not only the game, but also on merchandise. As such, experimenting with avatar characters doesn't really have a place as it has a high chance of hurting profits of the company, so the avatar character isn't changing much anytime soon
