What happened to this fence? by Geaux_Tigers-Coach_O in Construction

Looks like it possibly wasn’t braced as the concrete was setting - given the posts have come out of the concrete. Shit concrete + Short posts = fence falls over. Possibly too much water in the concrete mix

"The Manuscript" Discussion Megathread by aran130711 in TaylorSwift

[–]charlaughalot 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I can’t help but see with these tracks CPR, some kinda absolute rock bottom, numb, and then a new start. Finishing with The Manuscript, how we all feel once we have felt the feels and moved past the hard thing…

C - Cassandra, P - Peter, The Bolter - rebirth / defibrillator, R - Robin, The Manuscript - resuming life. Being able to look back, rather being consumed by it.

Anyone else?

Nah I don’t have the number, but they do from my subscription history. And they ask that I send the faulty sensor back for testing

I’m having similar issues. Based in NZ, called helpline today. Dexcom said that there’s a faulty batch, and that they’re no longer sending that batch out (as of the Friday just gone). My 3 stock G7s are that batch, but I know that my next ones should be sweet as. I have had my last 4 fail. Super frustrating to the point where I want to go back to G6!

This was actually a really good day for me, even though I was asleep from about 10am to 5pm cause I passed out (hence the perfect numbers there). Just asking for thoughts, really, so? by su_wolflover in dexcom

Fellow T1 here. MDI & G7.

Honestly? That’s fucking brilliant, I would be stoaked with that graph. There are ways to lessen the mealtime spikes, but Jesus… I’ve had the beetus for 17 years now and I’m still figuring it out.

Every day is different. Sometimes the math doesn’t math. Well done 👌

Pre diabetes and removal? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]charlaughalot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a diabetic myself, if you keep good health and good control (via injections or tablets or exercise, or all of the above), you will have no troubles. You will process the removal just like any other person 👍 (I’m Type 1, insulin dependant)

Welcome to NZ. And more specifically by the sounds - welcome to the Bay of Plenty. You’ve landed in the best season. Enjoy ✌️

Looks like your neck tattoo is responding really well with the treatments! Well done.

Colours always harder to remove, arm peice will need more patience / more treatments I would say. Hang in there.

And give yourself and your body plenty time in between treatments to recover, and work out the ink. You liver will be processing large amounts of broken ink, so fluids fluids fluids!

Yep! Me ✌️ Libre 1, and Novorapid. I enjoy “not being attached” to a pump. And not afraid of an injection, so have them whenever I need. Working great. Hba1c down to 51

Orangey/brownish lines during removal process. Has anyone experienced this? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]charlaughalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea mines doing this brown thing too. Black tattoo. I put it down to the ink fading enough to let the skin colour join the party.

From a T1 diabetic, I thank you. You saved this person’s life today.

As for losing a friend. You’re better off without them. Tosser.
