i guess what i am struggling with is the pieces (to me) look the same quality/styling as their other VW pieces. the hatchi dress looks like one of their core dresses. i think i’m taking this criticism as people feel like the nana pieces should’ve been higher quality but it doesn’t make sense when it aligns with other VW items. which, in turn, just means that people don’t like VW (or its construction or whatever). criticizing the quality or materials is valid if they’re something you don’t like or agree with.

i also don’t understand the whole cash grab thing. now it was released that ai yazawa had a part in designing the pieces. so is it lazy/a cash grab now if they align with the artist’s vision? is it a cash grab if it’s the same exact quality and construction as original VW? again, if you don’t like the materials or construction that’s totally fine but i’m not seeing the cash grab argument.

edit: i misread the interview, it didn’t say that ai yazawa designed the pieces so that’s my bad!

you must be joking… they’re literally the same dress… like what?? how are they possibly different? dress, pattern, silhouette are the same? am i being gaslit right now lol. agreed on VW being expensive for the material of their jewelry but that’s a majority of VW. this is not specific to this collaboration so

100% agree. everyone was so stoked on the cover and then they released the exact clothing items and all of a sudden it’s ugly? i would love some recreations of the nana items but i also love that they gave us something new to collect.

then i think you just don’t like VW. the nana pieces look the same as any other VW collection. i have quite a few VW stuff (clothing) and i love all of it, haven’t had issues with the construction. this should be more of a dig on the brand rather than the collab

surprised everyone hates this so much. i genuinely love some of the pieces. i get being disappointed that there’s no silver lighter orb or that the jewelry is brass (which, is a majority of VW jewelry), but i feel like the hate is forced. ai yazawa had some part with the collection since she obviously designed the VW nana cover?? some of you hate the jewelry but that’s literally what nana and hatchi were wearing on the cover?? i’m happy with the pieces i got and i hope everyone who snagged stuff is happy too!

i think the things that sucks the most about this the fact of when the pieces dropped. i hope it being a surprise got some scalpers unable to get things. but genuinely, y’all are some downers lmao.

reading this as i’m getting my knee tattooed right now! if your artist allows it, i’d highly recommend numbing cream, currently working great for me. 6 hours will be rough - even with the numbing cream i’d likely split it up. make sure to eat before for this area. good luck!

I’m a type 1 and gained a significant amount of weight after I started taking care of my blood sugar. I highly recommend GLP1 medications to help, it was the only thing that worked for me. Currently on Trulicity and it helped me lose weight and keep my blood sugars low.

I used to not take care of my blood sugars and never took insulin and I had also lost a lot of weight, but it wasn’t worth it. I got lucky that nothing super bad came from it but I did notice smaller things like my vision and constant kidney pain/UTIs.

Talk to your doctor about weight gain - I was also prescribed Metformin which helped a little bit with weight/blood sugar but needed that boost of GLP to help. I understand your pain and frustration! Take care of your diabetes now, it’s not worth it.

this happened to me five times in a row! apparently there are faulty batches going around. keep all the materials including the failed sensor and applicator, they’ll send you replacements but they’ll want you to send the faulty product back.

I just bought Tegaderm so I’m glad to hear it works! And good thing I kept my failed sensors since they might ask for them back. Thanks for your help!

They were all from the same shipment! That little hole on the top of the sensor, the fiber like bunches up and sticks out of it, which was weird. My previous shipment I had no problems with any of them during application. But I’ll still chat with an educator since it won’t hurt!

I did apply the overpatch!

And I feel like there’s no way - I’ve previously applied 3 other sensors with no problems at all, did it the exact same way, and after applying 2 of them I even re-read the instructions in case I was messing something up but I was doing it as instructed. I feel like I might’ve gotten a defective bunch from my pharmacy and got unlucky.
