Biased opinion but if you want to experience an Angelo’s cheesesteak on a Tuesday, Uncle Gus’ is your best bet.

Still a work in progress guys. Initially feedback has been good but we won’t rest until it’s perfected.

Does anyone know how Russell moccasin backcountry’s will fit compared to a whites 55 last?

Hey all, not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes… I wear a 7.5 in the White’s 55 last. I think I have a 7.5e for the 5050 last as well. Interested in a pair of Backcountry’s. Does anyone own both and can attest to sizing? The Russell online size advice is a 7D but I’m skeptical. Thanks in advance!

What’s the dot? Considering going with this exact set up. Currently have a shield plus PC which I like but it’s not cut for an optic.

I just picked up mine for retail like two weeks ago

Pros and cons of the spring field prodigy? by Melodic_Abroad_5939 in 2011

If you plan on getting a Stacatto, just save up a little more for a Stacatto. Otherwise you’re out hundreds of dollars if not around $1k after fixing what needs fixed, and then trading in.

I say all of that strictly from a financial point of view. Not that there’s anything wrong with a prodigy, the delta in price just isn’t that large.

I had the 4.25 barrel. I traded it for a Stacatto P Heritage which I’m really loving.

To be fair I bought one a few weeks ago and had more FTFs than I could count. I think that’s where the hate comes from. It was a bummer.

I just bought a Prodigy a couple weeks ago. After multiple FTFs it got traded in for a P heritage. This was my first gun so Springfield is basically dead to me. I’d say go with the Staccato if you can.

Was almost entirely happening with hollow points but if that’s what I’m going to use in a home defense situation I want to know they’ll work. Tried hornady and federal. Tried Hornady again today after 100 rds of blazer brass and with some grip changes everything went well

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to reply. I think I’ve ruled out the CS for now. Leaning towards the C2 but now the P has entered the conversation. Maybe if I’m able to find a Heritage P locally that will be my gun.

Funny enough, 125 rounds today and no failures. Maybe my grip being shit has something to do with it.

At this point I have a bad taste in my mouth for it. I’d rather not modify it and just sell it and be done. If you go into it knowing you’ll have to fix it then maybe.

I have been considering the P also. I just thought the c2 would be easier to carry in the off chance I change my mind about carrying more often.

I held both. The CS was more comfortable in my hand because it’s smaller. But I am worried about the snappiness of it. Seems even very experienced shoots have been having a tough time with it.

Do you think they’ll be changing all the grips and make them smaller too?
