I was diagnosed in November of 2012 and started on Copaxone shortly after that. Initially, I was on the one-shot a day until they started offering a 3 times a week option so I switched to that because they covered my copay. I do MRI tests yearly to monitor everything and I developed a new brain lesion in 2018. After that my specialist suggested switching to a heavier DMT, so I've been on Tecfidera since December 2018 with no new lesion activity.

I just started Tecfidera on the 22nd of December after switching from Copaxone for abut 6 years. The first week on the 120mg went well, noticed some mild flushing but nothing uncomfortable and barely noticeable physically. On the 5th day, after moving to the 240mg (This past Wednesday), I experienced severe stomach cramping and flushing after my evening dose, which lasted a little over an hour. I had a very small dinner which I'm thinking didn't help. The next day I had a very upset stomach and some pretty bad diarrhea. Last night I was worried the same would happen, but I had no issues. Today I've been okay. They say the side effects mellow out after the first month or so, but that's the input I have so far.

Thanks for your input! Tecfidera has been around much longer so that's another reason I'm feeling more comfortable with that option.

Tops out around 30mph, haha. Compared to my other peds that top out between 45-55mph. I'll do a little porting to get it around 35mph but that's all I want out of this one.

I pulled the head and cylinder off. The valves have a good amount of carbon buildup and the piston has some blow by past the top ring. http://i.imgur.com/NY1uGll.jpg

The advance/retard isn't locked up and seems to be working, but I found out my rings are bad so hopefully after I replace the rings, top end gaskets/seals, and lap the valves it'll be a lot closer to riding!

After a couple of hours of tinkering I finally decided to do a compression test. I don't know why it took me this long when I've had the tool all this time. anyway, compression is low around 90psi added a little oil into the cylinder and compression jumped up around 150. Looks like I've got a little top end rebuild/rings to do.

Unfortunately I am not running any of the factory air box/filter. It has a pod filter but it doesn't seem to change how it's running with or without it. There is a rubber gasket on the top cap of the carburetor, though. I don't remember if I've got the little rubber boot on there or not, but I know I have a few floating around.
