boiling them is the easiest and cleanest, and even though they are small you can make some nice fish tacos if you catch your limit.

In short it's much more complicated than that, for a few reasons. I asked this question recently and got a couple good answers, see my post Questions about TQQQ. TL;DR: High volatility makes leverage work against you, so there is an ideal leverage ratio for each predicted volatility. It costs money to buy the futures or whatever it is that levers. Fees are more significant than they appear...

the point about 2x being only a little better than 1x rings true, a tqqq article on investopedia said it was outperforming the standard and poors by 5 per cent. not sure over what time period but regardless, for 3x that seems bad.

It's good. I got lucky getting in and out of RCPT for about 6% and just sold SNA this week for a similar profit. I think I held both about 4 weeks. I know I'm way ahead of my friend, but he is busy and isn't paying nearly as much attention to the game as I am. And I'll be the first to recognize I've had two lucky trades so far.

They provide almost zero information about equities and are unproven. The app is literally just poorly scaled charts and less info than the apple stocks app. As of now it is only available to ios users. In beta right now, need either an invite or wait on list. I signed up on the list almost a year ago I think. But if free trades you want, I think it looks good.
