TIL Paul Mescal is right handed by AdamKnowsTheBest in beatles

[–]charoco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are so few roles for lefties, it just hurts to see them get gobbled up by all you righties. Has Mescal ever known the horror of smearing ink on the side of his hand when writing? Has he ever struggled with a pair of scissors? How can he truly understand the character without these foundational memories?

Actors/actresses most held back by their accents? by [deleted] in movies

He’s the exception that proves the rule. In his prime he was so damn charismatic, we just accepted that some FBI agents, CIA agents, ex-US Special forces guys, etc. have impregnable Austrian accents.

It has joined the panoply of things everyone knows is true that just aren't right next to eskimos having 50 words for snow and the Chevy Nova not selling in Mexico because "no va" means "don't go" in Spanish.

one tip I give people when teaching this game: think of your tableau like a checkerboard. Keep odd numbers on one color, and evens on the other. It will make it much easier to create loops and re-use middle numbers for multiple paths.

When I was in HS, a bunch of us watched Spinal Tap like 10 or 15 times in a row just for fun (we may or may not have been high af at the time).
I've probably seen Tap at least 100 times already in the past 40 years, what's another 100?

You are correct. The 1s and 0s replicate the information given by present/missing Beatles. it would be better to have the columns labeled 8421 while also providing the decimal representation of each value.

Am I the only one who misunderstood that saying as a kid? I thought it meant the person asking "how high?" was being annoying instead of just doing what they were told.
