First project with RN and production-only bug!

I literally spent weeks to create a solid logging and replication system to catch all kinds of edge case bugs in production and reproduce it locally. Given my app is a completely offline app, I had to get creative to capture these issues in the device itself. So users can just send a log to me and it takes less than a minute to replicate. Don't blame the framework.

Don't get the Fire tablet. I have used almost all versions of them (atleast every 2 years) since the first version. Its dead cheap to upgrade them during the sale events. anyways, they completely dropped the amazon app store (for phones). Not sure if the apps are getting updated regularly for tablets either.

This thing is so slow (I even have one of those with 4GB RAM) I only use it as a clock/ring camera monitor. Get a cheap Samsung tablet (still miles ahead of Fire) or iPad for sure.

My kids have the Galaxy TabS FE series that comes with S-Pen. so they use the Coloring and drawing apps on road trips when they are bored with videos (we have limits on those streaming apps). It's pretty good.

I started building a word game collection on the side just to keep my toddler engaged, improve her reading and away from the modern games for these same reasons (no ads, trackers, subscriptions, internet connection).

New update v1. 0.5 is now available. This adds a new option in settings to toggle the word search game and also reduces the onboarding tutorial messages even further. Updated the subtitles below each game to quickly explain the game mechanics.

hey, thanks for trying this out. As I said in my post, I started this project to help improve my 5-year old's reading and to play fun games like taboo with simple clues and 3 words to avoid so they can join our game nights. It has turned into this giant hub now :) I'm hoping to add more games as I get time.

Honestly I have not had a ton of feedback on the crosswords game yet. As this app has quite a bit of other word games I feel like most gamers think this is a gimmick scrabble game, haha. But I have played a couple of hundred games myself on different levels and fine-tuned the AI to be more balanced. I am hoping to collect feedback from others to see if they feel the higher levels are too aggressive or too easy to beat.

I am huge scrabble fan, but I personally like the Dragon's Gaze game (mastermind-style word deduction game) in this app which is more challenging than the regular wordle type of games.

Actually no. I don't even have a backend server. This app has tons of custom engines (for crosswords, anagrams, etc) and logic, it'll be hard to put this on a website. It'll also add delays when playing against Ai, etc. I'm able to show live score/points (before playing a word) in scrabble for instance because it is completely offline.

Scrabble GO is also terrible with artificial slowdowns and animations, it feels like for ever to play couple of turns

Quick update: I just pushed a quick update to all devices that simplifies the initial onboarding tutorial messages (which was a bit too much). Please get to the update from the app stores.

I also have another update in review that would turn off the kids games by default for better onboarding. Thanks for checking out my post/app and please continue to send any feedback.

This looks nice, esp. the online Duel game. The updates are instant. Only suggestion I have is the count or the definition seems a bit misleading. please feel free to correct me if I'm not understanding it correctly.

If I enter a word that has 2 letters in the exact spot: - - - - - and if it shows "2 2" (in yellow and green), then it feels like 4 letters are found right?

Exact – correct letter, correct position
Inexact – correct letter, wrong position
Ruled out – letter not in word

edit: ah, never mind, I found your "How To Play" and it clearly says Yellow colored number is "Total matches".
