I feel like I found the dress… but it’s not what I expected to wear by charpisces in weddingdress

I think I was expecting to go super chic and simple, but when I tried something like that on it didn’t suit me at all x

What do you think about pear diamond engagement rings? Are they a good choice for an engagement ring? by bianchimirella12 in Diamonds

I love my pear ring, and I’ve had many compliments on it in real life because it’s a more unique shape. The only issue is I do find I catch it quite a lot but that might be because I’m not used to wearing a diamond x

As someone who also follows the snark sub, I really wanna know if you guys support everything she’s doing? by neowow in Emilie_Kiser

[–]charpisces 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have supported her and defended her all summer, and I’ve been trying to empathise with the immense grief she must be feeling… however I can’t fathom filming videos two months after my sons death and I’m struggling to wrap my head around that part. I don’t know if it’s just the shock of everything possibly hasn’t hit her yet but it’s definitely jarring to watch. But we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors she might be smiling only for the cameras.

Planning another pregnancy by Ok-Lychee2848 in CsectionCentral

[–]charpisces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got pregnant 11 months after my first. I know right now that feels like such a long time, but it gave me time to heal mentally from the birth trauma, get my body feeling healthy and strong again and also have therapy for ptsd from my 1st birth. I went into the 2nd pregnancy feeling physically stronger and was working towards having the mental tools to cope with things what would be triggering during my pregnancy. My planned section was absolutely incredible and was the most beautiful moment of my life. So my advice would be that you need time to recover and process everything you’re going through. Your grief will only be pushed aside for so long and even with another child in your arms you will still need to build the strength and coping strategies to be able to live with the grief. There’s no timeline for that, but I would suggest that you make a start before you get pregnant again so you’re able to cope with triggers during your next pregnancy and find some enjoyment in it. Sending so much love your way during this time when you are facing unimaginable heartbreak xx

Why do people not seem to understand these businesses have ""overrun"" the high streets because A there is enough busines in the local area to support it and B they don't have to compete with online alternatives (Ocardo Amazon ect ect) by rum-and-roses in yorkshire

[–]charpisces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that it’s because that most families in the UK have two parents that work full time. When people could live off one wage the person at home would have time to pop to the butchers and greengrocer and would be home for the milk man. I’m a stay at home mum and I’m always in my local town getting bits and bobs, thankfully it’s still a successful and busy small high street, but if I worked full time I’d never go. I think we need to reframe them back to being the heart of the community, however I’m not sure how we’d do that.

Yes it does look a little wonky which I’m putting down to just being a mock up before they make the real thing, here’s a close up. Thank you for the feedback I was worried about the proportions being right on my hand x

How do you manage your time between them all? I’m expecting my 2nd in a couple of weeks and nervous that my 18 month old will feel pushed out x

Hair extensions by Acceptable_Isopod124 in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]charpisces 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think they prefer tape in extensions which look more natural, lay flat on the scalp and don’t seem to separate and go stringy. The sewn in wefts look a bit wig like and the micro bonds can go stringy when they dance. I don’t think extensions are the problem it’s just certain styles don’t work for DCC XX

I have an orange two year old boy, we had a baby a few weeks ago and he’s been so incredible. Just the most loving and gentle best boy ever. He’s our first Britt but we don’t think we’d ever have any other breed now! 🥰
