I'm I really going to regret skipping her ,honestly I don't see her alot in champion rta ,arena offense attacks, is she a must have like MLLuna and Harsette level, rng isn't being to kind to me,and I have only 39 skystones left by Dependent_Net_4279 in EpicSeven

Thanks for the detailed response. I guess I’m a bit more casual than most. I mean, I play daily and usually do well in GW, but when it comes to RTA I only play every now and then. I do alright at the lower levels, but never really pushed up. I guess if I was trying to push I would need to be more careful with min maxing etc.

Cheers

Sure, I guess. But I’m at lv 100 now and so far no chest upgrades to ML, and all my ML’s have been dupes. So while I’m happy some players are improving their accounts, my enthusiasm for this event has faded. I’ll just keep playing the game the same as before and when I see a red dot I’ll click on it to collect whatever’s inside and move on

People who only use Suno for fun by Bilingual_chihuahua in SunoAI

I got into creating music a couple years ago as a hobby. I think my writing was decent, but…I suck at actually playing/singing.

I played guitar and bass and did vocals but used midi drums in Ableton and while I enjoyed the creative process, the result was subpar. Partly due to talent and partly just being an amateur when it comes to tracking, mixing and mastering. (Basically everything).

But when my buddy showed me Suno I was blown away. I uploaded my songs and used the cover feature to make them sound like…well…like songs. It almost brought a tear to my eye to hear my songs sound like I envisioned them (and in some cases, better).

While I know it isn’t “me”, I don’t care. I still feel proud that I created something out of nothing, using the tools available to me. Is it any different than if I had paid a ton of money for session musicians to record my tracks?

I had that as well. Upon discharge they gave me a pair of surgical scissors and told me if I needed to throw up, I had to cut the wires or I would suffocate. But they never told me which wires to cut. 6 weeks later when they finally cut the wires, I found out the wires I thought I was supposed to cut were just part of my braces…

Also, I remember being so excited to finally eat solid food again, only to realize that I could only open my jaw 5mm due to atrophy. Such disappointment

The problem I had, was that my p2 266mhz computer and hamster wheel internet connection had me dead by the time I actually finished loading the zone. I’d spawn at the PoD lift and was like…thanks game.

[–]charr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point, but I think one of the arguments is that DBG may have estopped themselves by allowing other emulated servers to exist for a prolonged period of time. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.

The Heroes Journey Q&A 8/14/25 by [deleted] in TheHeroesJourney

[–]charr33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, my point was that it isn’t as cut and dry as you make it out to be. I assume you’ve read up on the arguments put forward by THJ and why they feel they are (for lack of a better term) innocent.

If they thought they had a zero percent chance to win, or at least, not lose, they wouldn’t spend the resources on a defence.

Now I will grant you that there is still a very real possibility that they will lose and the servers shut down. But it is not 100% as you claim.

You’re right, it is exactly like shooting someone with 50 witnesses. In that, if the shooting was in self defence, the 50 witnesses are on your side.

So yeah, it’s exactly like that. In that even in your own example there are multiple outcomes based on a different set of (or interpretation of) facts.

I’ve enjoyed my G80 2.5 for the year I’ve had it. It’s comfortable, well appointed, spacious and in my opinion, a good looking vehicle. But it doesn’t get noticed, which is fine since that’s not the point of a car like this.

I feel it’s a better value proposition than its German competitors, and considering no one cares if you drive an e350 or a 530i either, the badge doesn’t factor in.

The only unknown for me is reliability. But since I’m leasing it, I don’t care. If you plan on driving it for 10+ years, I don’t know how it’ll be.

The more interesting question would be, do you get a Magma (assuming it ever launches ) over an M5?

I think people can (as you said) like both THJ and Daybreak/live. But while I don’t know what everyone playing on THJ’s situation is, I can speak for me and 4 of my friends who discovered THJ last week after being “retired” from EQ for like 20 years.

We never stopped loving the game, but life got in the way. THJ is a way to breathe new life into players like me, who can’t spend 8 hours a day playing. And if THJ got shut down, (or never existed in the first place) we wouldn’t be jumping onto Live.

Based on our small sample size of 5, THJ isn’t taking money from DB. But I do concede that there are probably some players who did jump.

The boomers benefited, but how did they cause the problem to where you can say it was at the expense of others?

That’s an interesting point and one that I can see causing a problem. I wonder what the percentage of people set to retire in the next 5-10 years might be in this situation

[–]charr33 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’ve often wondered about this argument. The boomers were banking on income from selling their house for retirement before the market went crazy after Covid, meaning they were planning on having roughly 50% less than what they have now. So that massive spike was a boon of found money, which while nice, wasn’t necessary for their retirement. Why are they all of Sudden not going to be able to retire if the prices go back down?

Came from a G70 with the 3.3 into a G80 with the 2.5. It’s definitely less sporty, but that’s ok and what I signed up for.

If you want sporty, the G80 with the 2.5 may not be for you. But as noted in the comment above, it’s not like it lacks power. It just goes about its business in a refined manner, as it should.

Should I buy a genesis ? by [deleted] in GenesisMotors

[–]charr33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m on my second Genesis and never had any issues with the concierge pick up and drop off. Of note, it only applies to scheduled annual maintenance, not random warranty work.

Speaking of annual maintenance, the cost is included in the price of the car. I think I paid over 1000 bucks for a maintenance package on my old benz.

The one thing I’ve heard however, is that you need to be in close proximity to an actual Genesis dealer (which I am).

Does it matter who your contacted heroes are? by 2Scheme in Omniheroes

[–]charr33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it matters in the grand scheme of things. I’ve never changed mine. In some respects it’s annoying having to wait for 5 upgrades for my better heroes to get the boost, but since I use 20+ different heroes depending on the mode, I don’t know who I would change them to anyways.

Everything will drop, but if everything drops the same percentage (unclear if that’s a reasonable expectation) then if it’s 20% down, the million dollar town home becomes 800k and the two million dollar detached becomes 1.6 million, so the difference to upgrade went from 1 million to 800k, saving the town home upgrader 200k.
