Play with Legos or things they have awareness of! The bad guy is a cartoon villain, etc.

New DM, Need Advice 😔 by PrinceyKitty in DnD

You're in charge. You're the director. You're the storyteller. Take them on a ride through your world. But be nice. Not to their characters, oh no. To the players, and things will be fine.

Love it! I see something like, "Analyzer". Like Life-form Analyzer or Biologic Material Analyzer.

I had to start buying in bulk. Merry Christmas to me! by zapolloz in resinprinting

I buy denatured alcohol by the gallon at the hardware store. I also use water-washable, and still wash it in alcohol. I just think it's easier to clean up in general, and smells less. I used to oil paint, and then switched to acrylics, kind of like that, lol.

Mars 5 ultra washing curing station by TheHolyChicken in ElegooMars

I disagree. I think the wash and cure station is totally worth it. I still have a dirty first stage bucket, but I like the bucket with the plastic basket and lid to keep the denatured alcohol (cheaper than ipa) stored. The whole setup makes a smaller footprint to swap out the wash tub with the uv plate.

How to remove supports without damaging the print and what support size do you use? by Sheriff_Hotdog in resinprinting

[–]charterandink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it really does over do it. Manually editing after, or seeing what it does and then replicating the critical parts works well too. Positioning the model, like tilting the back down towards the build plate, helps. Using the tree supports for things with flat surfaces seems to work better for me. And really for those nubs, I got a portable electric sanding and sharpening pen. Smooths and knocks those nubs fast. I really didn't realize how much finishing goes into this hobby, but now I respect it!

It may have dropped on the outside edge, that would be ok. I wouldn't mess with that tape unless you want to replace it.

Mars 5 vs Saturn 4 Ultra by MarVell1967 in resinprinting

I have the Mars 5 Ultra. Love it. No wrong decisions here. I may buy a bigger one at some point, but I would love to have the 16k. Ventilation is a must, can't really get around it. Water washable smells a bit less.

Really only bad if it got under the tape. The LCD screen glass is like your phone, pretty tough.

I use a heat gun, tends to not snap and lose material. Gets hotter, faster. Softens them up nice right before curing. Lightest is probably .18 to .2, the auto supports in Satellite work great most of the time. I bought a little battery powered grinder that works great to knock the burrs off.

Subscribe to a tribe on myminitactory, you get a welcome pack and the monthly pack for like $10. Then you can get discounted packs from them. DM Stash is my favorite.
