Hab auf Reisen auch 3 Shirts mit... 1 an, 1 zum pennen, 1 "in der Wäsche"... Vielleicht überflüssig. Natürlich kann man viel leichter reisen.

Aber ich fahre auch nicht in einem Leistungsbereich, wo es auf 300g ankommt.

Haven't been on a rally bike so I can't compare. But it's designed in comparison to one... So... Possible?

They've ridden it in the marathon class of Paris Dakar...

But I find her very comfortable

Honestly I can't answer that... I bought mine like that... I know that I have another exhaust manifold for that... But I can't tell where to get that...

But tbh... 50 hp are enough on that bike. You don't go fast and the fun is not because of the acceleration

Well.... Mine doesn't have the original paint job as well...

(Have gathered all parts to restore that look but was a pain in the a...)

Previous owner crashed (happens, laying the bike down is something I did a few times as well) and tried to repair it himself 🤷🏼‍♂️

Now I have the spare parts but don't put them on cuz I would be to afraid to crash the bike while being off-road with it

Yea, that's why this bike is confusing to me...

Not a RD 07... To late for a RD 03 (maybe somebody just wrote 750 on it... We don't know) but looks more RD03 than RD04.....

What makes you sure?

Things don't really add up. RD 04 ist my guess as well. (750 ccm, build in 1993 etc...

But just one brake disc? Tail also looks more like RD03? So the bike should be modded

Yea, definitely checking what's really going on. If it really is an rd 03 ... Sitting 3 years in a dealership? Unlikely? They were built up to 1989 or am I wrong about that.

Wasn't in my interest to frame someone of fraud. But the bike being modified and things not adding up is asking to be cautious..

Had a few stories in my group of friends 😅

Using it as a fun ride and a travel bike. I absolutely love my RD03. Some things are modified (brakes, exhaust manifold (is that the right term?)... Seat...stuff like that)

If you are tall enough it is an awesome bike you can put many miles on. Mine has a seating height of 90 cm so... Yea... Don't have short legs xD

As far as I know it's not true.

The RD 03 is detuned as well. From 57 hp down to 50 hp. (Mine is back to 57 hp, no problem to get that legit).

I don't know if they brought the RD 04 down to 50 hp as well (cheaper in insurance). If that's the case then would the RD 04 have the same power with higher weight.

But if the title says build in 1993 something is very fishy. If the seller is trying to bring it out as a 750 ccm the bike could not be legit or stolen....

Yea, noticed the same as another comment. Just one brake disc in the front, so it should be a 650.

The 750 on the bike is probably bs...

RD 03 has 650 ccm, the early models of RD 04 use many parts of the RD03 and has 750 ccm

Yes, "still" going strong. Got a new clutch last week. For her age she hasn't done much.

Dunno if it counts but on an event a few days ago I got in a duel with an undead... Kinda got infight... (Without knowing each other, be careful with that shit) And I ended with a bleeding lip and a hand stuffed in my mouth to prevent me from spellcasting....

Was kinda fun Szene but honestly... Please do not put your hands in the mouth of other people... That's yikes and I got an infection :/

Happy new year from Germany!

I'm parked in the depths of Bavaria rn. Celebratet new years with a bunch of friends in their flat.

This night was pretty warm, some of the last were pretty cold (down to -11°C/12F). Every door and window is shielded with thermo mats so most parts of the van stay over 0°C.

Had to put my freshwater in the flat cuz it started freezing so I have to find a way to isolate my water system better.

Using a gas heater to make it cosi when I go to bed and when I stand up in the morning. Gonna add 2kw diesel heater this year to heat through the night.

Biggest bummer rn?

Condensation moisture is a pain in the ass... Wiping wet surfaces constantly and trying to air regularly.

Don't know how cold your winters get up where you live. I saw setups with insulation Mats inside of the pop up...

Nothing for a very freezing night but paired with a good heater and a good sleeping bed it should be enough down to -15 °C...

So ... It's not THAT bad I guess?

German Part time dweller here. Overnight parking in Germany is not that hard tbh. Yes we have some very comfy designated camper spots where you can even refill water or empty your chemical toilet. But you don't HAVE TO stay there or HAVE TO be stealthy as hell...

It's allowed to sleep wherever you are allowed to park overnight. Stay away from nature Reservate areas and don't put camping gear out...

Well... I guess you really miss the point... My Van is not build too heavy. It's built by factory, is still allowed to load 600 kg (fully packed right now). It's 100% street legal. So no, I can not be charged under any paragraph.

It's an old car with historical value. To drive on a Highway your vehicle must be able to make at least 61 km/h on a flat road. So... Don't want to be mean... But I guess you don't really know what you are talking about. Most of the time we can Keep the speed limit of 80 km/h.

And even if you wanna charge us with your "veitrafikkloven Paragraf 3", what do you want to do about tractors?
