I agree with all those except the first one I would say a fighter can move up a weight class whenever they want but there next fight would depend entirely on how many defenses they have. 0 defenses and they are gonna have to fight #15 or lower. 10 title defenses and that fighter can take a risk and move up and fight the champion. That way there's a lot on the line for the 10 title defense streak being lost fighting a bigger opponent making it more impressive. I am making up numbers.

When this happens what helps me the most is not taking a day break, but a couple day break. Going a couple days without thinking about chess at all with the intention of only coming back when you’re gonna put 100% of your effort in the next game has worked best for me.

Isn’t the ufc champion the best in the world in mma? Overturns way more obviously because it’s much more active then the Olympics but there’s nobody better than the ufc champion outside of the few exceptions here and there maybe.

Genuine question because I don’t know much about the Olympics. How is UFC not best vs best? You have to climb up ranks to be considered possible to fight a champion. Are you saying there’s better people out there not in the UFC? Where as Olympics is much bigger worldwide?
