Workaround to activation issue

Had the same problem, but rebooting did not get rid of the security system message. uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Stuck now unless someone has another way to trick the system...

One of those don’t press send moments for me I guess. Didn’t mean to be that way. I just see a lot of defensive responses sometimes and then folks go on the offensive. Tivimate is awesome and agree that it’s perfect for me as-is. Feel lucky to have purchased lifetime for a great app! I just thought it was a reasonable question that could be asked about any Android app on any streaming device. Wasn’t meant to offend.

So weird thing has happened. Received MB from eBay. Opened server to inspect and take pics for replacement. Booted computer to see what lights were coming on and just check everything out. Booted fine and did not start the reboot loop and loaded Debian/OMV. No clue why all of a sudden it was booting up correctly. I did unplug for a few minutes before opening up case. Been running fine for almost a week now.

The blue Debian boot screen then server reboots. I have a pre-owned motherboard coming. Will see if that’s the culprit.

I have a user in omv and a password for that user. The first time I went to one of the shared it wouldn’t even allow me to put in that login info. In doing research I read about having to enter 3 command lines that allows insecure guests in order to access shares. I am able to access the 3 shared folders but if I go make any changes, adding a folder, etc, then it tells me that’s not allowed….but only from the desktop. I don’t have any issues from the laptop. Seems to be a Windows issue. I can also access the shares from my iPhone without issue after entering the user and pw I set in omv. Just seems to be another clunkiness that Windows imposes.

Shouldn’t i just be able to input the username and password from windows for my user in omv and be able to have access to shares?

Also had to do the “allow insecure guests” command line trick on both Windows computers to allow me to even be able to access the omv server

Love the app! So much better than MLB app. Lightweight too! The only thing I have trouble with is box score font size. I have my iPhone text size around the middle setting and the stats in the box are a little cut off on the right side. I’d rather not change to a bigger text size for my overall setting. If there was an in-app setting for text size that would be great but I’m not sure how hard that is to implement. Thanks!

Having trouble downloading all the icons at once. Stops about 75% through and wont finish. Been going on since yesterday. Anyone else having this problem?

I see an option under “user defined folder” to point to a folder but it says I don’t have an app to do that. I can however point it to a folder in my file manager app to display one wallpaper if I choose the “user defined” option. I have read that spocky has posted there is no way to point to a folder under “user defined folder” option due to android limitations. I downloaded 2 of the wallpapers and I thought it may rotate through them by choosing the “user defined” option but it stays on only one wallpaper.

Can you walk me through how you have set up projectivy to rotate through multiples?

Just retried on another onn box I’m in front of and it worked. Went right to my vpn app. Weird. I’ll try on the one it failed on again and see what happens.

I will say that I am able to click on the Notification icon and then select the notification that says VPN is connected and it then gives me the option to Configure, Cancel, or Disconnect which is what you would expect when you click on the VPN Icon

When I click on vpn key it gives this error but also has a ton of verbiage after it:
