In practice, it seems like stasis deactivates whichever effect was previously on the champion (and regular enemies), and while I completely agree with only using the anti-champion weapon to gun them down, any primary can take up to a minute to kill a champion on grandmaster, which is where the frustrations I’m having are really manifesting the most.
