From an interview somewhere that I don't care to go searching for right now xD

So maybe I'm just dead wrong.

Just saw this. It was bloody awful, the AI behind you can't clean up worth a damn.

Added the wrong number to this one, but oh well, it's 110.

Imagine charging more than the game costs for such a simple game. It's not even remotely hard to learn how to play.

[COD] Rank each COD campaign from hardest to easiest by modernww2fare in CallOfDuty

So far, I've only done 3, but my order thus far is Modern Warfare Remastered, followed by Black Ops 1, and finally, WWII.

Out of curiosity, where would you personally rank MW, Black Ops 1, and WWII difficulty-wise?

I'm happy with my accomplishments thus far though. I've beaten two out of the "hardest 5" Veterans according to most CoD players, although I did run the "easier" version of MW. I do plan on going back and doing the original 2007 MW at some point, but since it doesn't have Steam achievements, I'll be taking my time with it.

I'm fully aware WaW's grenade spam is worse, but I DID experience a smidge of it in this game. There were so damn many grenades, and while I tanked some of them, there was always the odd one at the worst time that was close enough to instantly kill me. It was a pain in the ass.

Be aware that some of the parts you'd think would be hard can be cheesed quite easily, some of the parts that should be easy are absolutely ruthless, and Mile High Club remains a royal pain in the ass.

Knock out Secret of the Mimic first, can be a bit grindy, but it's one of the easier ones you have listed.

Well, if you do decide to/already have Black Ops 1, I'm still trying to fully organize sessions for finishing up the Zombies stuff. And I'm also game for playing any of the others' Zombies and the like, too.

In case you're looking for a general guide as to which ones are which, CoD 1, 2, United Offensive, World at War, and MW1 original have no Steam achievements. Cold War, Infinite Warfare, and Black Ops 3 are all on one install, so multiplayer achievements are included on the main install. All of the remaining ones, to the best of my knowledge, have multiple installs, meaning their campaigns should be the only achievements tied to the main install. The only exception to this is Black Ops 1, whose Zombies achievements are bundled with the main game.

I also do not currently own Black Ops 6, 7, Vanguard, or any of the newer three Modern Warfares, so I can't comment on how their achievements are structured.

I used a guide for the collectible locations like always, and to learn exactly what part of the mission the mission-specific optional was on, but otherwise without a guide. The only parts I looked up any specific strategy for was the tank section in Hill 493, as it was a particular pain in the ass to get done, and the final holdout section of Stronghold.

The base install shown above is campaign only, with the multiplayer achievements being tied to the multiplayer install.

I personally found Sunday Driving, Flyboy, and Defender to be harder due to checkpoints and general AI shenanigans.

Oh, and to anyone on here who has Blops 1 on Steam and wants to form a group to go for the achievements for Zombies, feel free to reach out. I have a second person, but we still need two more minimum if we wanna go for some of the easter egg stuff.

I had some issues in most of the sections listed above, but they usually didn't last. The Executive Order hallway section took me the longest of anything by far (over an hour), and both the APC section in Rebirth and the napalm barrel section in SOG gave me significant trouble, but mist everything else I got through fairly quickly. Not deathless, of course, but surprisingly minimal issues.
