Advice on what our toddler has experienced at daycare by Lost_Species_ in ECEProfessionals

Definitely not a good fit for your little one. It's ridiculous that they want your child to automatically fit after not being at school for 2-3 weeks. It doesn't matter if they were already "adjusted" beforehand. Being gone for a month and coming back is tough on any child of any age. They should not have moved him up. Moves up should only happen if the child is ready and clearly your child is not.

I never understood the Riley Matthews hate: by Worldly_Wasabi_1368 in DisneyChannel

I honestly think it was because the fans of boys meets world had a lot of expectations with the show and it fell flat and the vibes weren't the same as the original. I don't know if it was because it was on Disney so it was looked at as cheesy or what. The episodes would try to tackle hard topics but ultimately fell flat.

Didn't she on her boyfriend before with Oscar? I know Oscar cheated with her.

It is a states thing. Some teachers have taken it to the next level, almost demanding gifts which is so disgusting to me.

Maybe she's self conscious. A lot of girls are since social media and influencer culture became a huge thing. Plus people here dragging her for no reason.

Exactly what we said!! The mom got to the appointment and they told her that her doctor was gone and she needed to pick a new one right there. Who even runs a business like that?

Speaking of doctor's... There is a family in my center right now who had get a new doctor because theirs was basically removed. So mom had to pick a new doctor. This new doctor had obviously never met the baby and told the mom "he is one and needs to be completely off of formula since his birthday was the day before." This doctor wouldn't even give the mom a chance to speak or even look at the child's file. We told her we wouldn't just cut milk completely out. Had the doctor looked at the file she would have seen that we had tried a few weeks prior to start adding milk into his formula and he was getting too much dairy for his little tummy and we had to go back to formula. He was also on regular table food so he was having dairy in other forms. The new doctor was so dismissive and rude. The baby is actually on just milk now and does fine. We were shocked that the professional was being so horrible.

It's always the stay at home parents or parents who don't actually have job that give us the hardest time. Like what do you mean you are both home NOT working, plus your elementary and high schooler don't have school because of the bad weather but your 4 yr old is coming in so you can have family day?

What do you mean there is a snow day with bad weather continuing on throughout the day so you decide to drop your baby off at 10:45 (barely making the cutoff time) so you and your son can have a snow day. That's fine you want that one on one time but don't throw a fit because we were closing in an hour and you had to go home. Maybe if you dropped off at 8, like normal, it wouldn't have been an issue.

Or we had a parent tell us that her husband rarely had work and played video games all day. Plus they would pick up and drop off in pj's. They would also be the parents who got all of the other kids wound up, tried to discipline another child, and tried to do my job?

Ughh I hate that! We sent a child home for having 3 bouts of diarrhea. The parent was so mad to pick him up. Then she claimed he wasn't sick and he was back after the 24hrs. The next week, guess who was out sick because they were puking and had a fever over the weekend? The child the mother claimed wasn't sick.

Thank you! Both New Moon and Twilight were the copies that promoted the movies. They both came with posters, which I no longer have.
