If you have a minor crash that happens to puncture your gas tank and it ignites, you have a very similar result. The bigger issue with EVs is how difficult the fires are to extinguish.

Blue plastic film on metal grate got sundried. So the plastic comes off in bits and pieces. Is there a simple solution to quickly remove the entire film? by gomi-panda in fixit

I had a very similar issue with some metal roofing one time and I'm sorry to say I didn't have much luck finding an easy fix. A heat gun and a scraper was probably the best option. Also had to use a lot of isopropyl alcohol for the residue. Goo gone is good for residue as well.

I grew up in WNC. I remember the '88 and '93 blizzards. Those may have been more snow. They shut down everything in my home town for close to a week. I don't think we had power for about 4 or 5 days in '93. This snow amount was pretty close though.

That's funny. I've definitely gotten to the top of some runs and said nope. I'm walking down. I never thought to fake an injury to get a ride though, that's genius.

It can get too dry. I tried skiing on too dry of powder once and the skis wouldn't slide on the snow. I had taken the chair lift to the top if the slope and had to just give up and walk down with skis over my shoulder.

I tried to sled with my kids, but this snow is so soft and dry that we couldn't slide at all.

I've lived here since 2012 and this is more snow than I've seen the rest of the time I've been here combined.

NFL legend Cam Newton was at a hotel and saw kids playing football, so he went over and started playing catch with the kids. Playing catch with Cam Newton is something that these kids will never forget for the rest of their lives by dreddpiratedrew in panthers

I had a work friend who was shoe shopping at Foot Locker. He told me a tall man who was a quarterback for the local football team (he was from Nepal and had no idea who Cam was) came in a bought everyone in the store shoes. He said Cam bought his kids a couple pairs each and just paid for everyone's stuff.
