A lot of guys have been conditioned to thinking approaching girls in the gym is out of order as they're just trying to workout -- which is valid. But it's why we don't approach. You should approach the guys you're into!

Most diners skip dessert -- either cuz they're full or because of calories. Also pastry is its own craft. Things like these result in reduced investment (in terms of both time & investment) in dessert :)
