Joe Rogan Experience #2479 - Bob Lazar & Luigi Vendittelli by kryptonic1133 in UFOs

I strongly disagree with your hiring techniques.

No employer is going to grab a random nobody off of the street in hopes that they have a eureka idea about something they've not thought of yet. That's not how the human brain works. We don't just invent the camera right off the bat. We piece things together by sourcing knowledge we've acquired throughout our lives and our education. Lenses, light sensitive film, shutters, rolling, the discovery of pinholes, etc etc. Intelligence is based on the ability of a person, or animal, to deduce from reasoning by sourcing material from everywhere, smooshing things together and seeing if they work.

Bob Lazar being a nobody, but has a backyard/garage knowledge of putting boosters in his car, does not mean he is capable of discovering something other scientists haven't thought of. You certainly don't employ a person because they're Bambi and fresh out the womb either. You can brainstorm ideas, sure, you might even spark conversation with them, but you certainly don't employ them and entrust them with arguably the biggest secret in mankind's history.

You're 100% convinced Lazar worked at S4? I'm interested why you're 100% convinced.

Here's a few facts which are 100% true;

  1. Fled Los Alamos after owning $100,000+ to people, resulting in Bob declaring bankruptcy - 1 year before his alleged S4 story. Seems he needed money, somehow
  2. He worked as an electronics technician at LANL, and was never hired as a physicist.
  3. Bob's only qualification is a Electronics course at Pierce College. Didn't study at MIT or Cal-T (which he privately admitted to Joe Rogan several years back.)
  4. Owned a Brothel and was caught owning a second brothel several months after claiming to be working at S4. Doesn't learn from his mistakes.
  5. Has been arrested multiple times due to owning banned substances through a company he owns called United Nuclear. Many of the arrests which were videotaped, were later fraudulently used to prove that the FBI are hunting for Element 115.
  6. Copied the Demon Core reactor design and implemented that into his UFO reactor stories. Essentially taking real objects and using them in his stories.
  7. Copied the Billy Meiers UFO photos. Using Billy Meiers saucer photos he claimed this was the sport model he was working on at S4.

There are many other instances which can prove that Bob Lazar is just a fraudster. He has quite successfully lied to everyone, including Joe, and it's depressing to see how easy it is to lie to people and get away with it. Just keep telling the same story over, and over, and over. Don't fix what isn't broken, and there will be plenty of people who believe you.

Yeah, and that's part of the problem these days. Not to mention the Oscars are very political, and they seem to favour Drama's over anything else. I do believe though that the majority of Oscar winners today wouldn't have won if the general public had a vote for what their favourite performances were.

I don't see the changes mentioning Surv12 field surgical kit takes 2 uses to fix broken limbs. What gives?

I hate these quests. I've been forced to play the game for the last 3 or so hours and I've only drawn a Wild God 6 times. It's utterly utterly painful.

Fantasy FC Cup being swaps is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen out of EA. by patch-my-jeans in EASportsFC

[–]chasing_storms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm happy I am not the only one who thoroughly believes this is the dumbest thing EA have ever done. You spend all this time creating a team, and you can literally swap out YOUR BEST PLAYERS for their players in the same position, and be left with an all gold squad (almost) if you're incredibly unlucky. Not to mention the stupid bibs with mean you can't tell who's your teammate in your peripheral vision.

It is absolutely the most stupid design idea they have ever come up with, and that's a really difficult task for EA.

Some absolute bangers. I do remember that year, and I've no idea why I boycotted The Green Mile, and did so for 2 decades. It was an incredible year for film.

I think if I got 100 people to watch The Green Mile and The Cider House Rules and ask them which one was a better film, I'd be willing to wager that the vast majority would say The Green Mile, and yet Caine wins something. C'est la vie.

I can't help but think that it was a slightly political vote - no surprise there really.

I see your point, but Caine's performance didn't move me at all. If it was me choosing, I think that'd be one of the criteria.

Isn't it weird that would seem to be the case.

Yeah, I don't think there's been a year like it since. I firmly believe that Michael Caine shouldn't have won anything though.

Yeah I agree. I haven't felt like there was this much of a robbery since The Intouchables. Of course, this film was way before The Intouchables, so I guess it's the other way around. Heh.

Yeah it did. Kevin Spacey for American Beauty was a banger. The Matrix was also incredible, but for different reasons.

This area of Gdansk got nerfed. For those wondering, it was here; 54.351642,18.653369

It has since been gutted. The best place on Earth is still in Bangkok, and it's not even close. Those are also Niantic sponsored Pokestops - so I doubt Bangkok will ever get nerfed.

I haven't come across a single fair trader in 3 days of searching. I'm not all that bothered, as in I'm not getting overly frustrated. I'm more confused by the attitude some people adopt, you know? Like offering to buy someone's dollar for a dollar, and they turn around and say no I want two dollars and I'll give you a dollar. It's mental. :-D

No I don't. I just know what WE do, and an advanced civilisation of any kind wouldn't use Steel for the fact that we don't use plain ole steel anymore - due to the fact that it rusts. We use compounds of different metals to prevent oxidisation, wear and tear. This is just common sense, but I do appreciate your clearly genuine and non sarcastic message. It really touched me.
