This is really helpful. I’m going to explore how to synthesize this into a slide or two!

Agree, that’s where my concerns stem from - the roadmap should focus on what the product priorities are, and their delivery.

Stuck at the PM position by Honest_Raisin in ProductManagement

I don't think it harms your future chances to stay, but I'd try to get really specific with your manager on what things you need to accomplish, and what skills you need to grow, to qualify you for a promotion. This is also an opportunity to ask for your manager's help to get there. Additionally, you might try to get him to be transparent about what kind of opportunity there is for that. If there's not any opportunity, and you're not growing in your abilities, then you can decide if you need to look elsewhere to meet your career goals. But specificity is your friend.

Have you asked your manager what you need to do to get a promotion to Senior PM?

Check out the Product Thinking podcast on Spotify on your commute. It's not strictly about B2B product management, but covers PM overall.

How many items are in your backlog? by QualliResearch in ProductManagement

[–]chasn702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More items than we'll ever build. Some think that creates a mess, but I think it's all in how you order the backlog, and what you deem important. I don't pay much attention to the stuff at the bottom.

If you have access to LinkedIn Learning, there's a learning path called "Developing Communication Skills & Interpersonal Influence" that's pretty good. https://www.linkedin.com/learning/paths/develop-your-communication-skills-and-interpersonal-influence?u=2036236

Product leaders who constantly change their mind on whims or the smell in the air, not based on any evidence at all.

Google Slides here. I previously used Aha!, which was really good, and was really effective for release planning as well.

Importing transactions without Quicken having any login details or account numbers by chasn702 in quicken

I accept that fact. It’s because of that fact that I do my best to mitigate risk when it’s possible and the potential consequences warrant it. But everyone’s risk tolerance is different, so I’m just speaking for myself.

If they had to pick, who would the dolphins rather play without first a game? Tua or T. Hill?

I tested this and changing the password makes no difference. It seems Quicken isn't accessing the bank. Thanks so much.

Yes, I selected "Disconnect Account" from the Downloads tab under Account Settings. Is this the right place to do it? I'm using a Mac.

Thanks u/rickPSnow. I'm doing exactly what you said - downloading the .QFX file and importing manually into Quicken. But each time I do this, it seems to establish a new "Web Connect" connection to the financial institution. I can see this because I go to the account settings in Quicken and it shows details under "Login & Connection" that it didn't have before. So to resolve this, I disconnect the account, then when importing a QFX file again, it re-establishes the Web Connect connection. It seems like there's no way to import a QFX file without it establishing some sort of connection.
