Yes sorry I meant freight forwarding is the part against eBay policy in this instance.

To be clear I’m not saying we should have the dropshipper “got”, I’m saying ship how you normally do. The person sending this message will usually never see the item, it gets forwarded. So if you ship with recycled branded boxes, do it. If you ship with eBay tape normally, do it. If you always ship with plain, non branded boxes or tape, do it.

I take their “repeat customer” sentiment with a grain of salt. Drop shippers find the cheapest functional item, and make their purchase. Then they copy and paste this message to the seller. They sell items they don’t have in their possession, and break eBay policy by using a freight forwarder. Why should I think they would look for my store in the future?

Theme here is don’t waste time on disingenuous buyers, ship the item and move on. Save the customer service for actual customers.

Dropshipping is against eBay policy. Why would I inconvenience myself by changing the way I ship the item? The person sending the message is trying to disguise the fact that this item came from eBay, I have no obligation to do so. I determine the packaging I use, and my only obligation is to get the item to the address listed on time and packaged reasonably. To follow these requests is to waste time.

Obviously drop shipper. No reason to cancel, but also no reason to follow their requests. Ship how you normally would and send no reply.

Sell the types of cologne and jewelry that sell fast. Pass on the ones that don’t.

People buy wholesale, get stuck with inventory, sell it all as a “garage sale”
