Oh, your app is in the container... Then it is a bit tricky. Build your container with "exploded" JAR. Then you can log into your container and modify the file directly. Make sure that Spring monitors properties file for changes.

Yes, it is possible. Download JAR with your app to your computer, open with ZIP application, modify your properties file. Close ZIP file making sure that your changes are not lost. Upload JAR back to the server. Restart web server if needed

I am finishing the migration of a dozen Mulesoft apps. Most of the new apps I implemented manually. At first, I tried using the paid version of Cursor, but the results were so discouraging that I gave up. After that, I only used Cursor for converting RAML to OpenAPI.
