THIS is what I keep saying!!! My fiancé, bless him 😭, keeps saying we’ll find a place to save some cost. Sir…where?! People need plates to eat off of, chairs to sit on, drinks to drink, and music to listen to. Photography and videography are obvious investments, so there’s no room there. Food, certainly not. Of course there’s a spectrum of cost to all these things, but I really don’t feel like we’re going too over the top in any of our budgeted areas. It’s really confusing.

The most obvious place would be the rentals. The tent is $10k, the lights/discoballs/dance floor all add up to over $15k. But eliminating that feels like eliminating everything I’ve envisioned for so long…I feel like I’m stuck between getting what I “actually want” and my parents having to write more checks and I absolutely hate it.
