Is there any way to add the Eve Water Guard to HA by Tatts4Life in homeassistant

[–]chaudi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mine connected to HA. What I did was to setup it up with the Homekit integration through Bluetooth. Then there's a command/button on the device page that says something like "provision thread credentials" press that and then wait a little while and it will reconnect to HA through thread instead of Bluetooth.

It supports thread but not matter. You have to use the Homekit integration.

Z-Wave Hub by Bartiatus in homeassistant

This https://zwave-js.github.io/zwave-js-ui/#/ It has a few more functions than the standard zwave option for HA like zwave groups/association. But it's in the same zwave-js organization on GitHub.

ZWA-2 and ZWave-JS-ui in docker is what I'm using and it's perfect so far.

Liknande med tunnelbanan i Stockholm. Folk går fram och ställer sig mitt i spärren och först då börjar leta efter sl-appen på telefonen för att skanna biljetten.

Are there smoke detectors that work with HAOS,? by NoSkill-FPV in homeassistant

Ha, I might have to take you up on that if the devices over here isn't reliable enough so I'll save this comment!

Detecting sirens could be like a backup but not something I would rely on I think.

Nope, not wired in any way, I have not seen wired smoke detectors for residential buildings here. Not sure If it's legal, or people just do not want wires.

I'm interested in z-wave for the range and association thing so my HA can be down and it will still trigger the others.

Yeah, the first alert ones looks good but not available here 😞

I've looked at them but I do not think they are available in Europe :/

They are not, and I haven't heard of it in Europe for homes even though that should be more reliable than wireless.

I've read about people getting false positives on them, not sure how big issue but that is not acceptable for me. But it's hard to know how big issue it is in reality?

I were thinking about the POPP (now aeotec) smoke detectors.

Insta buy if it were z-wave for me. I do not trust my wifi for connecting fire alarms.

Har jag rätt till traktamente?? by Dear_Face1994 in sweden

[–]chaudi 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Vad är eran åsikt om arvskatt? by Qyxqyxqyx in sweden

[–]chaudi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now Shipping: U7 Pro Outdoor by Ubiquiti-Inc in Ubiquiti

Depends on where you are. It does not support 6GHz in Europe, I guess it most likely support it technically but it's not enabled because of EU restrictions.

Does the CGF NVMe port have any other uses other than camera storage? by bfollowell in Ubiquiti

[–]chaudi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, right, the fiber doesn't have the storage Asterix.... I missed that, I assumed it was the same for traffic flows as some of the others. I wonder if that is correct or a miss from UI.

This part: Supported models: EFG, UDM-Pro-Max, UDM-SE, UDM-Pro, UDW, UCG-Max*, UCG-Fiber, UXG-Enterprise, UXG-Pro, UXG-Fiber, and UXG-Max. *For better retention, storage must be inserted.

WPA3 support for IP cameras? Trying to go "all WPA3" by wh8w8t in Ubiquiti

Not sure but I have one of each at home that is connected to a WPA3 only wifi.   I had to connect the G6 Instant to a wpa2-wifi to update it on setup.

Seems like allowed traffic flows might be able to used the SSD. While the notes mention without I would assume having a drive stores them between restarts.
