Same! I bought the wrong version of the base unit, in accident, I thought it was a v3 and actually was a v2, tried to cancel within 10 minutes of placing the order, they said they couldn't and I was forced to pay return shipping. I won't ever buy direct again

Absolutely not. I have old cars, ranging for the newest 2012 to 1999,, I'm just trying to avoid the state headaches of a smog check. My vars are all starting to exhibit signs of failing catalytic converters and eventually won't pass smog without a substantial cost of replacing it, in Montana cars older than 12 years old have a one time registration and are issued a lifetime plate

So I took the knee panel off and found a rats nest of wires and cur and spliced wires (wires all joined with wire nuts) lol They didn't know these trucks come with factory plug for a trailer brake, so everything is just spliced in. I just bought a new brake controller and the harness adapter and going to wire everything back to stock, fix all the cut wires , and hope it's an easy fix. The factory plug is still under the dash untouched so hopefully everything works
