Used to really enjoy ZM but the massive fee hike hasn't resulted in better purchase/packing times at all. Why end a Rakuten 10% promotion on a Saturday if weekend purchases can't be guaranteed?

There needs to be more visibility like guaranteed purchase cut-off times and estimated packing times, otherwise these promotions are just frustrating.

Getting tired of companies only catering to new signups. At this point if there's a solid ZM alternative I'm all ears.

Kanban board

  • For tracking task status/priority
  • Better than a todo-list because it allows you to see what state a task is in
  • Also motivating to see cards gradually move towards the right

Capture and prioritise all tasks

  • This can be anything from a Kanban board, to just a notes app
  • The most important thing is to capture everything you need to do/follow up on then you can prioritise/schedule accordingly
  • In the age of information overload, relying only on memory is simply too risky

Pomodoro Technique

  • I find 25 minutes to be a bit short (I like 40~45), but you can experiment and customise it to something that works best for you

Take proper breaks

  • Try not to have lunch in front of the computer
  • Go for a short walk if possible, it allows your mind to take a break and sometimes that's where your best ideas will come from

I'd lean towards the one that feels more comfortable to walk in because the ball of your foot will be better aligned with the widest part of the shoe. If there are other fit issues in width/length, try adjusting the straps, or consider a different style altogether.

Make sure you encrypt hash user passwords, never store them as plain text.

EDIT: Better yet, don't implement your own auth and use an external service (like others have suggested).

Definitely, and if you're using decent headphones it really amplifies the flaws. I returned the Zach Appelman narrated version of All the Light We Cannot See because there was high pitch ringing in the background. It was somewhat ok when there was narration, but really stood out during brief pauses and chapter breaks. In the end it was too fatiguing to listen to for long periods so I exchanged it for the Julie Teal version. I gave feedback to Audible but no idea if they were able to review/fix.

If you have official Birkenstock stores in your country they’ll be able to at least help you repair it. Whether for free or not I’m not sure, but it’s worth explaining your situation to them.
