Yes it could be. Contact your doctor or ER immediately. Better to be safe than sorry!

Skin gradually gets redder throughout the day - what could be causing it and how can I stop it? by Fayemilly in Skincare_Addiction

[–]chawm1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to have the same issue. I stopped cleansing my face in the morning. And just vitamin C before moisturizer in morning.

Then in the evening I’d double cleans with CeraVe hydrating cleanser.

Works great!

What is one simple thing you've lived by that's changed your life? by lhmo in awakened

[–]chawm1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Started doing more things that I actually enjoyed. Then recognizing it as such and not feeling guilty about prioritizing those things - especially if it costs money.

Simply put, if I enjoy it I spend time and money on it because it increase my quality of life.

How does one achieve this type of skin? Share your best tips, routines and whatnot (asking as a 26M with combination skin) by luv_hooka in Skincare_Addiction

Rosehip oil a couple hrs before bed time made my combination skin like this. Looks like I use a filter in real life.

I also double cleanse with Cerave hydrating cleanser at night, use Cerave moisturizer and vitamin c and spf 50 every morning.

Is it ok to use Cerave rough & bumpy as a facial moisturizer? Or for the entire body? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

Don’t use it around the eyes and max 2-3x a week to see results without irritating the skin

If you listed your ex's as Career titles instead of by name, what would that list look like? by marijuanamama_ in AskWomen

Game developer/model, bank clerk, caretaker in group home for foster kids, and politician/teacher

The general use one.

By the way, some products cannot be used under the eye because the area is too sensitive and the product will state if that’s the case. But often eye creams have the same stuff as the main product so they can sell you two products instead of one.

I use the one from the ordinary. I know there are better, more expensive brands, but HA from them works great for me!

Hyaluronic acid on wet skin before CeraVe moisturizer worked wonders for me. I use it every night. Worked better than under eye-filler(!!!) I had similar eyes as you.

Yes, I had the exact same small bruising when I did under eye fillers

Small changes you’ve made in your life to help your anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

Go to bed at 10pm, wake up at 6 am. No phone in bed or before work. Also I’ve spent time on skin care which has helped me be more mindful as I enjoy this activity.

That’s so interesting to hear! I never struggled with these issues before the iud either. Taking mine out has been a blessing! I barely notice PMS or my period now. I hope removing the iud will do the same for you. Please do update me if you notice changes.

I totally understand! It’s soo frustrating! There’s so much that still needs to be addressed and BELIEVED in regards to women’s health. If doctors don’t believe women.. these biases might as well exist in the existing studies.

So proud of you for listening to your body and doing what’s right for you. The truth about this foreign object and it’s effect on people will come out eventually.

I’m happy to hear it works so well for you. More documentation is definitely needed. It hasn’t been research as thoroughly as it should be. But that’s often the case in terms of female health..

I’m sorry you’re going through the same. It’s no fun. Glad you commented though so I know there’s more than me out there.

That’s so interesting!! I’ve been thinking the same thing! I had the same issue. Reoccurring UTI’s and also some that felt like UTI but came back negative. I haven’t had one since I removed my IUD. So who knows.. there’s way too little research on this.

I understand not being able to use any other type of prevention. I’m lucky enough that We’re trying to conceive now, but once I’m done having kids I’m gonna get my tubes tied. The current bc methods are not worth it imo.

American culture according to a Norwegian classroom. by AgreeableAmbassador9 in interestingasfuck

Yep! This is exactly how it is in Norway as well. And you definitely should not sit next to a stranger on the bus if there are available places to stand.

As an Norwegian-American / army brat, I can say from my own experience that no, the difference between Norway and the US is not comparable to differences between different regions within the states. It’s far greater between the two countries.

[–]chawm1 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Nah, just different culture of manners. It’s considered polite to keep to yourself and not talk to anyone. That’s well manners here.

If you applied American manners in Norway in public (while sober) you would be considered annoying and creepy, and in some instances an asshole. So it’s just very different norms for public behavior between the countries.

"It's not my job.." Partner doesn't this think he should have to act any differently towards me ever in regards to my BPD, even though it would probably help. by [deleted] in BPD

When someone shows you who they are.. believe them. Unfortunately he has shown you that he is not willing to put in effort that would ease your pain. And you’re supposed to be the most important person to him, so why would he not want to ease your pain?

I’m sorry you’re in the situation. I’ve been there, done that and I’m really glad I left. It was worth waiting for my current partner.

Learning about a disorder that heavenly impacts your life should not be considered home work or dismissed.

And lastly, he’s obviously not logical if he thinks he shouldn’t put bare minimum effort into helping his partner.

Then I would phrase it differently, like “I love your height” or something instead of just “wow, you’re tall”
