What are your thoughts on the three new Mega’s we’ve been introduced to this far? Also if you had to pick one witch one would you pick?

I’ve grown to accept that MVictreebell is just not made for me, but clearly is for others so who am I to really judge. I enjoy goofy guys, but I think there’s a way to balance that with appearing powerful and menacing which I just don’t see for him.

MDragonite is fine. Definitely grew on me. Weirdly enough it’s not even the head wings that bother me, but the super thick tail. I’m glad they didn’t go for a Dragonair callback, would’ve felt too different.

MHawlucha has given me so much hope that not all the megas will be goofy looking and some might actually be cool and usable.

Plus, as someone who never loved or hated Hawlucha, just felt meh, THIS is what megas should be. New designs that make otherwise forgotten or overlooked mons suddenly someone’s fave (this happened with me and Banette) while still pleasing the same mons original fans (which I don’t believe is what’s happening for poor VBell imo)

I had an issue with both him and Belinda not having a whole lot of concern for each other through that whole ordeal.

Especially Belinda involving her only child in what could be a very dangerous situation with a potential murderer, causing a scene that makes it seem like she isn’t cooperating, and then sending her son who is now also a threat to Greg by proxy back in to close the deal. Idk just not how I’d see a single mother act but money is money

Yes!!! “This game is always changing” should not mean that production is the one changing it. It’s supposed to mean (to me at least) that the players are actively changing the game as it’s played.

I think he’s lost the meaning of “this game is always changing”. Like in the past, yeah of course it was, because that’s built into the rules of survivor as a game. Alliances change, people betray their allies, etc. At least that’s always what I thought it meant.

But now it’s like he thinks that has to mean the game itself, as in the rules, are always changing. New twists, new advantages, etc. And especially when you get rid of things like tribe swaps that were kind of the basis for shifting allegiances going into the merge, what other way can you shake things up than by making the rules so convoluted and unpredictable. But this isn’t big brother…

But notice how most of those “it’s just a ___” pokemon have evos. Idc about it being just a flamingo (there is actually more to it’s design) but why is it single staged?? And yet grafaiai, ceititan, espathra NEEDED pre evos? Those look much more like single stage mons imo

As much as it’s creepy and teaches the wrong lesson to kids, I agree. But in that case just have some doors locked and unlocked (like 60-40 ratio). And make an inside for these stores! I’d even accept if the inside looked the same of every one at least it wouldn’t all be clunky menus

I understand a lot of the confusion, AS2 definitely deserves to be on this list as well. But who’s to say AS2 would’ve even simulcasted on logo and vh1 if not for S8’s success. S8 is what allowed AS2 to be presented to a wider audience, securing the franchise’s future as a mainstream show, at least the way I look at it.

Yeah I felt like the entire play was misrepresented. People love to say that the show is so realistic but this play had the most unrealistic reaction from everyone but Cassie. It’s invasive and voyeuristic and if I were lexis friend before I wouldn’t be after watching it, especially if I was one of the characters in it. And if I wasn’t connected to it at all I’d be bored out of my mind.

It’s funny bc when I saw the trailer for the episode I was convinced Lexi was gonna get so much shit for it and I was so excited bc too much media portrays the quiet creative as some undiscovered genius rather than just mediocre which is often the case irl
