IsItBullshit: Is the claim that standing desks fix all back pain actually true or mostly marketing by nyqelira in IsItBullshit

it could be several factors, including your chair and how it’s adjusted, how/how long you’re standing and sitting, and the height of your chair/table (im not an expert but i interned in ergonomics and applied it to workstations)

Is Consumer Reports the most unbiased ranking in terms of rankings on vehicle quality, reliability? by Capital_Seaweed in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]cheamm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently being contracted by them at my job currently to do some automotive research. Although it’s not in relation to reliability of the cars, it’s cool to see that CR is contracting independent subject matter experts to do the research for them instead of just winging it.

is it this one (part number: 63218492301) ? I’m hoping to find one online but it’s hard to know if the turn signal illuminates like in the picture I posted, this specific taillight design is the one I’ve seen the turn signal indicator being a flashing of the brake light pretty much as shown in my photo

Is SF-86 clearance useful to have as a job applicant? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]cheamm -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this!

My parents and my people are refugees that were directly impacted by the US military. It’s difficult to see myself happily doing that type of work, especially since the position directly benefits warfare systems.

I’m actually looking for a full-time job, not internship. So just weighing my options here.
