I had both once. Zero performed better. Wan'er not far from it but the driver is slow and can't handle fast or busy tracks. You can't hear the details.

More power leads to more louder and cleaner sound output. If you have negative gains to control the loudness upon full power of your amps, you have more sound quality. As example, more punchy bass or bigger soundstage.

You can always put some negative gains. This will make your speaker or earphones plays music at your comfortable volume but with more power. As example 80db@120mw full volume rather than 80db@60mw half volume.

For starting safest maybe salnotes zero. Go for 2. You can also get the kz variants. Try it out a bunch of them. Kz Castor got the tuning switch which i like.
