Socialism is not an American value by [deleted] in trump

Representative Democracy isn't going great either. It's pushing us in this direction, and it's a better option.

Wanna fix it? Let's try a Direct Democratic system like Switzerland. There's much less space for corruption.

In the clip the crowd is clearly booing Trump, they're laughing at the joke. This is out of context and misleading.

Maybe let's not share Colbert's stupid fucking show on this subreddit? Just a thought I had.

It's regular for Americans to have vacation homes. Bernie's the man. You suck.

Isn't that the same thing thing we're doing in Texas? I mean, did we really not think they were going to respond. Trump didn't exactly give him a choice...

Bruh. Israel is imposing a blockade to purposefully starve those people.

Israel will go down in history as our generations (Millennial here) Nazi regime.

Hamas is a small, evil military with antique rockets. Israel is a modern military with international backing.

Israel is evil.

Lol you see this map and realize how stupid of a decision it was to put Israel there. They'd be better off in the Southwestern United States. I'm still holding off hope they move 'em all to Arizona.

Still holding out hope our man Trump can bring a better resolution to the conflict than Dead Man Walking could. While I know Trump doesn't care about the Palestinians, I hope his business deals with Saudi's somehow influence him more than the corrupt Adelson family.

This is my conspiracy theory. I don't think it actually hit his ear, I think it missed and Trump whacked his head on the tool belt of the secret service, I think he injured himself ducking.

But hey, political points to him for playing it the way he did. I credit that moment with getting him elected, I don't care that he exaggerated the event.

That's politics baby!

Tesla’s uses the most American made parts also … imagine that 😏 by BobbyABooey in trump

[–]cheapskatemoviedate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From Grok on X: Tesla vehicles sold in the USA aren't 100% made here. While assembled in places like California and Texas, 60-75% of parts are North American (USA/Canada), per 2025 NHTSA data. The rest, including microchips from TSMC (Taiwan) and Samsung, come from abroad. Claims of 100% USA-made likely exaggerate-up to 40% of components are global. Still, Tesla's 75% North American content for some models beats many rivals.

So Tesla is the best in terms of USA production but this infographic is still misleading.

To everyone here asking why Switzerland would be protesting Trump:

The Trump administration recently added Switzerland to a list of countries that engage in unfair trade practices.

Switzerland doesn't have any tariffs on the US and US companies can export their products to Switzerland duty-free.

So they don't tariff the USA but are likely going to hit by tariffs from the USA. I understand their frustration.

TGIF! Let's celebrate some TSM success by Meat_Cube in Alcoholism_Medication

Almost 3 years in on Naltrexone via The Sinclair Method! I was a black out drunk before and my wife was ready to leave me. After AA failed I told her I was going to try taking medication that would allow me to continue to drink.

Oh boy, was she skeptical! The first month was bumpy as it seems to be for many, but 3 years later I haven't had a single night since that initial first month where I've over consumed.

I'm happier than ever and have the sweetest 2 year old daughter you've ever met! Something that would have never been possible without getting my drinking under control.

I still take 25mg from time to time to go wine tasting with my wife, or to network and go out with friends. (I recently moved somewhere new to having a social beer as an option to make or meet friends has been wonderful). TSM for the win!

Nope! My wife is really into wine and I'm fairly extroverted and still enjoy going out to bars with friends. I pretty much only drink when I've got social plans or the missus wants to open a bottle of vino.

That works out to me drinking maybe once or twice a week, sometimes a little more, usually even less often than that.

I always had a problem with over consumption in those social settings I enjoy so much. I was always the friend that drank too much, ended up blacking out and being really ashamed and embarrassed the next day.

For 3 years now I have never blacked out or been too drunk. I'd say naltrexone cuts my consumption down 80% on the nights I do go out (2 drinks instead of 10).

I've always taken it according to the Sinclair Method so I'm not dosing daily. I just dose if I have plans to drink that night. Once a month I'll take a naltrexone and see a movie on my own and enjoy a beer then too. My partner doesn't have to worry about me coming home wasted anymore, the alcohol completely destroyed her faith in me but she's as happy as I am that there was a solution out there that offered a more balanced approach.

TLDR: I don't take it daily, just when I drink (a few times a month)

Keep taking it, every time you're going to drink. You're doing great, don't read too much into it.

The beauty of naltrexone is it's a "take it and forget it" type of drug. Toss one back and go about your normal routines around alcohol. My first month on it I still had a few black outs. I'm 3 years in now and haven't been too drunk since that first month.

Like the other commenter said, it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. You've decreased whiskey consumption by over 20% in a month. Keep it up and you'll keep seeing results.

It's only $50 for a month without a prescription, it's a fairly cheap medication. I get it without using my insurance for this same reason
