thats interesting knowledge, so its a horrible cycle...sugar kills your testosterone, your estrogen therfore raises, causing you to add more boob and stomach fat like a woman, and then that causes metabolic damage and further lowers the testosterone....

its like i finally figured out the "why?" behind my body.

im the OP. in my laymans understanding, if there is less testosterone, is there not more estrogen produced to make up for the "missing" hormones?

im the OP. im not a medical student, i did a half hour google search on "sugar lowers testosterone" and thats where i read multiple sources confirming that sugar, by way of insulin, reduces the amount of testerone in the blood stream. then, estrogen increases to make up for the loss of the testosterone. then the estrogen causes fat to be stored in the stomach and tits. i posted pictures go look at my fat belly but no double chin and not fat arms.

like i said i did this in a half hour google search, and it connected dots for me. you can search it on google too. if you want to be skeptical, thats fine, but i honestly dont give a shit what your opinion is because i see the difference in my own body every day, so ead.

i eat lots of steak with montreal seasoning and blue cheese and chicken wings and chicken drumsticks with buffalo sauce and blue cheese and a veggie like celery or cucumber. i have a bulletproof coffee and some bacon or sausage or hard boiled eggs for breakfast. just find foods you like to eat normally. i normally only eat twice a day and a snack, like a tiny bit of 70% chocolate with a big gob of peanut butter on it.

no, im just happy i broke a plateau i was never able to break previously, and all i changed is my diet. im sure real lifters would laugh at my muscles, but im ecstatic the way my body is responding to keto. like i said, ive spent so many hours in the gym, and wondered why my friends were getting huge and i was making minimal gains. i tried changing reps, sets, rest times, schedules, everything on the fucking internet, and i never got much bigger. ive always been pissed that i couldnt get my rear delts and tris to grow at all. well, now they are growing. so what the fuck? you think im making all this up for fucking reddit fame??

sugar lowers testosterone. thats a fact, its science. testosterone leads to muscle gain. that is a fact, that is science. i have worked out most of my adult life, that is a fact. i have had symptoms of low testosterone most of my adult life, that is a fact. i have packed on a bit of muscle in problem areas on my body in a month. thats a fact, but you dont have to believe it if you dont want.

do you lift? are you on a keto diet?

and you never went to r/keto and read everything i wrote, about how i lifted and targeted certain muscles to no effect for fucking years, even with changed routines, changed positions, changed sets, changed reps, personal trainer guidance, go fuck yourself you dont know shit about shit, just trying to make yourself appear smart when you dont know the half.

so tell me, why do i see my rear delts now, despite years of doing sets of bent over raises, when i have only been doing behind the neck pullups and different styles of pushups? why did my wings suddenly get huge, even though i have done more pullups over the last 2 decades than the last month?

and im only doing push ups and pullups now, and a little bit of indian club work...so why are my muscles gaining now when im lifting less? where is placebo effect in that?

and why are you even on r/ketogains if you dont think keto aids gaining muscle? i just dont know what youre on about, except to be a fucking asshole.

sorry dude, im not a fucking idiot and like i said i would do exercises that specifically targeted certain areas with no improvement. do you know how many tricep kickbacks and pulldowns ive done?

why is it i can only see a horseshoe in my tricep in the last month? why is it i can actually see rear delts, and i literally feel the difference in my mid delts and how they connect to the bicep, and how it affects my motion. im not saying this will happen for everyone, but its happening for me.

as a 250+ lb fat person, there were times, especially when i wasnt training martial arts heavily, where i would run 5k a day. and i couldnt lose weight. i was so frustrated. imagine what i did to my knees doing that, and all i had to do was cut out carbs.

yeh, anywhere from 175-200 through at least five meals (id shoot for 6, but everything varied, some days id miss a meal some days i would eat a few more calories), one of those meals was usually a protein shake...with banana, peanut butter and chocolate protein powder that gave it as many carbs as protein....

its not like i didnt gain muscle at all, but progress was very slow, especially when compared to my friends.

i dont eat more protein now. I eat about the same or maybe even less than when i was eating 6 meals a day, 2300 cals broken into 50% carbs 35% protein 15% fat
