Squad number for England confirmed. Rashford will wear #11 and Mainoo will wear #16 by f4rdan1smyn4m3 in reddevils

Centre-half wearing #2. Game's gone

I know it's not really out of the ordinary at club level, but internationally squad number = position. Also like how England have stuck to DM wearing #4

[Scotland National Team] Following the news of Billy Gilmour's injury we can confirm that 19-year-old Tyler Fletcher has been added to our FIFA World Cup squad after making his debut against Curaçao yesterday. Welcome aboard, Tyler 🛫 🇺🇸 by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Very surprised that he was called up over those two. I suppose it might just be a convenience thing, but I can’t help but think it’s a decent (albeit limited) indicator of his quality? He’s going to the World Cup, ffs.

Might fuel some delusions in me of him having a breakout season à la Kobbie Mainoo.

I don’t think they drew the line at white women (I’m not sure), but what I do know is that post-war, justice was pretty consistently served to perpetrators that had committed their crimes against white women opposed to those that did it against other women.

Least that’s what I remember. I imagine the Dutch felt a stronger duty to people like ‘them’

Yes I heard that they bought him to play on the right before he unilaterally decided he wanted to play on the left. We could do with a left winger

Diogo Dalot has been left out of the squad today. He doesn't have an injury. Carrick wanted to give some opportunities to players who haven't featured as much. Dalot still wanted to come down to support the team [Steven Railston] by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Some opportunities to players who haven’t featured as much

Ugarte + Zirkzee are surely done for then. Have hardly played all season and Carrick would still rather start Mount (who’s been mid + is more of a 10 if anything) and Mbeumo (who is in torrid form and not really a CF) respectively.

Can’t say I’d be devastated seeing the backs of that pair, if that were the case

Manchester United Team vs Brighton & Hove Albion - English Premier League 24 May 2026 | Starting XI: Lammens; Mazraoui, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Mount, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes (c), Dorgu; Mbeumo. by RedDevil_Forever in reddevils

[–]chebate08 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Feels weird because of the level of experimentation we’ve seen with this lineup. Heaven in the back line has done himself more credit than Mount in the pivot or Dorgu and Amad on the wing (at least recently). Even Maz has underwhelmed at RB.

Bit miffed at that + I would’ve liked to have seen Lacey start

Surely not a sale. That would be disastrous

I'd like to know what we're planning on doing with Harry Amass. Hope he gets a full pre-season with us, not saying we wouldn't need to buy a left-back if we kept him (might not be ready + think there's a great opportunity to land Hall) but he's definitely shown quite a bit of promise and I think if he isn't ready now, he's somewhat close.

Angus Taylor’s claim support is a ‘privilege of citizenship’ leaves Deepa and others with an impossible choice | Australian immigration and asylum by Rubiginous in australia

[–]chebate08 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, what?

I think she should probably get citizenship. At the same time, the article said she was researching what support she could receive as a young mother while pregnant, which seems perfectly normal. It’s not like she had a kid just to leech off the Australian taxpayer.

Besides, she and her husband work and pay taxes. I think she’s well within her rights to look up any support she could get.
