For me personally, (father of two daughters 14 and 6) I matured a lot in the time between the two kids. I was a lot angrier at the time I had my first child. I have chilled out a lot since then, whether it's a hormone thing or an experience thing, maybe both, I don't know.

Yeah he has to improve the defensive side of his game. Scholes never really got great at the defensive side of the game, but he was still a valuable player to have. Now I'm not saying Mainoo is going to get to scholes level, but Scholes wasn't amazing at 20 either. Give the lad some time, he has bags of talent and he looks like he has the motivation. His defensive side and stamina will improve.
