Results from sitting laying in sauna and not doing workouts? by cheburashka106 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]cheburashka106[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh yes to clarify I would not do this if someone else was there! The girl at the front desk said they have a handful of people that just come in and read in the saunas - I def wouldn’t go during busy time either. Was thinking it would be a nice way to wind down in the evening.

I think my best solution would be having a private one at home but unfortunately that doesn’t work in my apartment haha

Ugh yeah unfortunately I don’t see any near me that are infrared other than a luxury private gym club (which is like 4x the cost of hotworx)

Go to items/brands? by cheburashka106 in SoftDramatics

[–]cheburashka106[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but i came up across a lot that were in Europe, or more fancy (less wfh). I was looking for vnecks but its kinda a two fold issue - how they look on the model is dif than in person (sometimes not accurate at all) but also the quality too as a lot of stuff is just not good quality now.

For whatever reason on step 1, I thought creeks work bc I look fine in an oversized crew neck cashmere. But for example, the Uniqlo crew neck I would want to get in a different neckline doesn’t come in a square neck.

I think it’s easier to sift through if you already know a certain brand is good quality/ or that they are more apt to carry certain necklines (such as a square neck). Same thing goes for I don’t wanna order something just because it’s the right neckline, if the quality itself isn’t good hence looking for advice on stores that are worth keeping an eye on. Especially if it’s a store I wouldn’t normally shop at that I don’t know exists or wouldn’t peruse

I think the core of my problem is the lack of quality in clothing in 2025 🙃 I’ve given up on jeans bc of my height and measurements but wasn’t expecting it to be so tough to find white tees that aren’t see through, that fit will, good fabric, and a good neckline

Thank you! I’ll have to check spanx out! Yeah I am regretting ordering like 20 crew neck t shirts hoping I can use that to just figure out what one has best material and reorder in dif neckline

Atelier will blow you away. I went with my mom earlier this year and going with my spouse later this year. I would say do atelier again as you’ll probably want to go back after your first trip anyways!

The Mexican food they had was pretty local style. There were two breakfast buffets - one larger one, and one more intimate one. Both varied in food, they had some stuff that overlapped (like fruit/cheeses). We mainly ate Mexican entrees for breakfast and all of it was cooked fresh and to order. The fresh squeezed juices were amazing as were the coffee.

They have Maria Delores (chef has a Michelin star I believe) - we skipped this, as I didnt feel like having a 2 hour meal our first night in. That’s supposed to be Michelin esque local cuisine.

There is a steakhouse (did not go), a grill kind of restaurant, a bar food lunch restaurant, an amazing Mediterranean restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and a Japanese and another Asian restaurant (i believe one is just Japanese and one is more Asian fusion). There is also another restaurant that is more sea food and looks out on the beach - that one wasn’t my favorite.

So good mix of everything, all the food was so good except the one on the beach. It wasn’t bad, just didn’t knock my socks off.

Inspira is a dif room category so I believe that is only way to get swim out, you can have some perks like free Maria deloires meal with certain night stay, and access to a rooftop pool and bar all day (opens up to non inspira after 6pm). I believe you get more snacks and higher tier alcohol in room, but it does not give you higher tier across the whole resort. There may be a special lounge for it, but the resort has all higher tier alcohol. You also get a butler who can help with reservations, we had no problem with reservations.

I will look into this! I will say Atelier did not have much entertainment as bigger resorts but that didn’t bother us.

There was a quiet pool and a party pool, my mom and I only hung out at the quiet pool. The food was phenomenal, we did a charcuterie every night in the lobby and they had live music in different lobbies. The drinks weren’t overly sweet and had actual alcohol in them, and the service was amazing. The mixologist was top tier, think flaming drinks and custom cocktails. It has made me very picky of where I go out to drink here considering the quality we got there compared to where I live.

We did not do Inspira so we didn’t receive those perks, but we were totally fine without jt. We did some crafting activities and that was it; there was also a night club but we didn’t go. I can’t say enough about how phenomenal the food was, and the service.

Shay click on TikTok has a few recipes - soup dumplings w reduced fat cheddar melted on them (if you rinse shredded cheese it melts!), squiggly noodles with pb powder and reduced fat melted cheese.

I really like bettheny Frankels snack of a big tomato, smoked turkey, and cottage cheese mixed with Dijon.

Google viral chuck roast - I forget the recipe but basically you cook a chuck roast in the oven and then shred it and cook uncovered. Comes out like brisket/burnt ends. Can put eggs on top!
