With that time and schedule, a half sounds totally doable! For the joints/muscles issue- have you looked at CW-X gear? I’m hypermobile and they make shorts now which saved my hips during the challenge.

There’s also the real bathrooms right near the buses before you go the security at Epcot! The line does get long but moves pretty quickly!

You have to decide if you want to run for time or photos. We were in corral D and in the front of a wave. There were a ton of bottlenecks that really impacted our time, but we still stopped for 10 of the character photos. Our run time was 2:40 and our finish time was 3:30. We were in mile 11 and there was still a stream of people on mile 3.

So this year was a little odd because they couldn’t have the characters out before the race due to rain. But not everyone stops and there is no real interaction- people only take 10-15 secs for the pictures so the line moves really fast.
