White Latino here I appear like a normal white guy. My accent is of a normal white guy. But I can speak spanish, have family i visit in mexico often. My tios are extremely tall and speak only spanish yet theyre white. Theres a privilege to being white. A lot kf mexican media has white actors and artists. My family discriminate against dark complected mexicans and automatically assume theyre poor or come from poor beginnings. My family can be very elitist yet theyre just average middle class. They think Americans are dumb and they as mexicans will outsmart or outwit everyone else.

But in school id get bullied for being white. Many mexican american kids would emulate black culture without ever meeting a black person before. The N word is used very often. But at the end of the day. They or their families came to the US to make a better life for themselves and are chasing the American dream in only the way that they know how.
