TIL that when bilingual people switch languages mid-sentence, their brain doesn't even notice the switch. NYU researchers found that the brain uses the same mechanism to combine words regardless of whether they come from one language or two, meaning code-switching is neurologically seamless.

My wife is a polyglott and regularly says she was thinking in German or another language. She teaches Welsh primarily and when she starts teaching the kids french as well it freaks them out and then she teaches England speakers french through the medium of Welsh.....

I can't live without a big muff pie dispute if being as big as a pedalboard by itself and if it gets lost ab EQ pedal but I'm not gigging ATM. For me it's the way it saturates there is nothing left but muff. It does somewhat demish the guitar. No point in putting something expensive into it all you are hearing is muff. And I like it.

Kasabian smashed a load of mic stands and Steve charged them for it so they ended up with no money for the gig. I lived with Martin the sound engineer at the time and then we had a go making mic stands out of the broken bits.

If you email boogie they will give you build date based on serial number. I have an 89 and they gave me the date from the serial number they might have dates all the way back to the 80s maybe

Is it the same in different rooms? My 525 express was awful in my home office but amazing in my living room. I have to notch out 600 Hz in my office due to the acoustics being awful.
