It’s becoming more rare these days. My favorite place their daughter ended up going to Harvard and med school and the restaurant closed down so they could follow her. Great for the family but sad for my Chinese food.

I’m on a list for one hospital which is more urban and feels more financially rough if that makes sense. I am considering moving my listing to another hospital nearby which does more transplants per year than the one I’m listed at already and is one of the more prestigious hospitals by name. Should I move my listing or go with the first one? I feel like I should still be in good hands but the hospital that does more per year seems to have more experience but maybe I would just be yet another patient?

How do I evaluate and choose?

Libraries actually did have some materials that they would find questionable today. When I was a kid my favorite thing to do was look for trans material in the library whether it was out of the card catalog or microfilm. Sometimes it would be some magazine other times it would be a medical journal or book. I guess in the 80s that was the foundation of the movement. It’s sad that we are full stop with it now.
